so today i went to Bank Al Habib to ask about Roshan Digital Car Details. basically this program has the least markup available from all the conventional and roshan car financing. i asked the manager about mode of finance? he told me it will be financing mode i.e hire purchase agreement. the car will be in name of applicant, will bear with holding expenses, non-filer/filer taxes, while asking about ijarah he said that is done by meezan, and at the end of maturity you will have to pay amount for acquiring the car, also they have hidden taxes and residual value etc.

regarding ijara, let me clear one thing he might be trying to convince you, so that you stick to them
it's your choice if you want RV or not
and also I have paid 100Rs to acquire car at the end of my DIB Lease in order to transfer it to my name (sort of buying car)
Also confirmed from one of my colleague he payoff his lease last year.

Hello, I'm in the same boat as you and pretty much went through all these options before realizing that an ATIV X 1.5 (new) is the best option. Civic was my first option but then decided against a used car and especially one that had a lot of problems in the earlier models (used civics of the later years are too expensive in my opinion). I went to a dealership to have a look at the Altis 1.6 automatic and Yaris ATIV X 1.5 CVT. The Altis was a major disappointment. Analogue climate control, no CVT, no push-start.....and for a car that costs around 3.5 mil, that's just horrible. Even though I am not a fan of the front look/shape of the Yaris, in this price range, you don't have a choice frankly. I haven't been able to test drive one yet though. As soon as I do, I'll probably go for the purchase.

Can anyone share Yaris photo showing Rear Axle Beam. While driving yesterday there was a Yaris infront of me and I clearly saw its axle beam. It looked to be poor quality white sheet. Usually you cannot see Axle Beam of the car in front of us.

Bank Al Habib is not very good in financing. HBL has fixed markup which attracted me. speak to Bank Islami or Meezan about the same, they can guide you in detail. if you are in Karachi, i can line up a agent to you

i am from lahore, HBL ka markup bohat zyada hai. bank al habib is offering variety of insurance. adamjee for 1.5%. hbl is not offering w-out tracker insurance othar than EFU. their markup is also high. not feasible for me at the moment. will surely look into more.

how much extra / interest you ended up paying over the actual car value? And in how many years?

it depends on various factors like no of years and down payment, but keep in mind atleast 12% incl insurance and tracker annually
and without insurance around 10%
but if you payoff before time you'll get the benefit on remaining payment
the process is just submit your pay slips and bank statement and they'll inspect your request then after the approval they'll book car for you in your desired dealership

I'm successful in activating paddle shifters in 1.3 Ativ cvt. They are working flawlessly, Alhamdulillah. .
I searched whole shoba for Grande's steering, but they were too much expensive. However, in Chah sultan Rwp, I found a steering. I retained my own steering and just used the back of that Grande's steering. I had done all the mechanical and electrical work by myself. No Electrician involved at all.
No wire was peeled. Just added 2 wires pin to pin grip.the wires were added from steering to gear.

Alhamdulillah, done with the project.

Never had any experience with Standard chartered saadiq, I've only experienced Dubai Islamic Bank Islamic financing twice but believe me all other banks are just using different terms to actually charge you interest (interest is rent, insurance is takaful and lease is ijara) with my experience only meezan bank is following proper islamic financing somewhat, they have only fixed ijara product and they do not book the car on your name they are the sole owners of your car and when you fully pay the amount to the bank, then they transfer the car on your name so it's different than any conventional and other islamic banks

Car prices are going down ??? As per different blogs Govt. has reduced FED from 5% to 2.5% on cars above 1000cc till 2000cc in latest Auto Policy.

If the FED has been reduced to 2.5%, then should't it reflect in invoice prices from today since new budget comes into effect from 1 July?
