I think I found the answer. It's "Fuel pump shut off system", not fuel auto cut.

The fuel pump shut off system stops supplying fuel to the engine to minimize
the risk of fuel leakage when the engine stalls or an airbag inflates upon collision.
To restart the engine after the fuel pump shut off system activates, turn the ignition
switch to “ACC” or “LOCK” once and start it.

No, this is not normal, get it checked, few cars had issue with door trims, gets replaced in warranty

Our yaris ativ 1.5 came at showroom after almost 1.5 months.. But they saying wait two or three days... Let the notification and invoice for price decrease come..probably they will return the difference I guess after price decrease..
So will update on this once the car is delivered

by the grace of ALMIGHTY have booked Gli CVT 1.3 on 29th June from Toyota Jinnah Motor Lahore.
delivery time is Aug-21 but the sales person was saying that he will try to deliver before EID.

Salam Brothers.
I went to Toyota Rawal today for booking of Yaris Ativ x. Last week they were taking full Pay order amount as they suggested the car will be made available in August as there's no point in paying less amount for a car being delivered in a month.
However, this time around the sales manager has advised to hold up till the price reduction is made clear. He says the price will go down but it will be harder for us to get our money back from Indus in case we pay full amount right now.

Don't understand why its even mentioned. This is one of the oldest feature efi cars have that incase of an accident, the fuel pump will be cut off even if the ignition key remains on...
This happens in 2 decades old cars also. And I am 99% sure, this is in the Honda city and most probably in the other 2 also but manufacturer doesn't consider it a worth mentioning feature.
If Toyota has implemented something different than this then it should explained with mentioning. Even the link you have given is for the yaris 2005. So this feature if its the same we are understanding is not worthy of mentioning separately.

Just talked to my Sales Guy... He said sir gari last week say ai howi hai laikin toyota has stopped delivery as price reduction notification hasnt been issued yet and toyota wants to extend the price benefit to the customers.

I asked if I can inspect the car .. he said yes sir..

Website still shows order in process... no message from Toyota either as of yet.
