If I am not mistaken,Cabinet meeting regarding the final approval of tax benefits and CD/ACD is today... If approved then possibly the GOP will notify tomorrow and the auto manufacturers will taken another day or two to announce the revised prices..

Talked to the representative at Toyota Airport, they received expected prices list, but toyota has not officially announced yet, they are waiting for official notification and then they'll send final prices to dealerships across Pakistan
Also Toyota has asked them to hold on deliveries until price confirmation.

According to this news report, the is a press conference today and notification will come out tomorrow (Thursday) so we can expect another couple of days from there.

Listening to the press conference it seems that it will come into effect in a couple of days...

Dirty tricks being played by manufacturers...I think only the FED reduction which is applied at time of invoice generation would be extended to cars which are yet to be invoiced. ACD will apply only on new orders as assemblers will say that we have already paid ACD as per previous rates and they may even delay that for next few months citing the reason that auto parts are imported well in advance..
