Both will void warranty regardless of what the dealership says...

Retractable mirrors aren't true retractable (search forums) plus it involves opening door panels... never get the door panels opened unless absolutely necessary... phir choon chaan ki awazain aain gi pot holes pay unless you get it done from a real karegar... even then the protective seals are destroyed.

Those who get high end speakers installed in doors would know what I am saying..

Toyota Indus is aware of this chuuna ...

Within a week you will get message from Indus asking if the dealership offered official insurance.. respond know...

Toypta own product is at 2%...

EFU is a good company but do check that it should be comprehensive insurance.

If I were you, I wouldn't have accepted delivery and launched a complaint with Toyota Indus directly unless its really minute and completely un-noticeable

Buy the 1.5 Headunit used from the market.
I got it for 8k but normal range is 10-20k

yes it's ativ 1.3 CVT
He drove 1.3 old city and 1.5 new city and as per him the drive is fun which we all agree to some extent, but he feels like the 1.5 CVT is as boring as toyota CVTs a bit better you can say (1.3 seems sluggish to him I guess the CVT lag)
Also some of my friends came over they are the ones bashing Yaris but when they drove it they all agreed that drive is more comfortable then corolla gli also a bit less sluggish then GLI.
and they were surprised that the seats are so comfortable and the car looks small but it has ample leg room in front and back as well

I also launched a complain with Toyota Indus, let's see how they handle the situation.
The scratches are minute and only visible in direct sunlight when you are focusing on them I think they are more like marks visible on black color
I saw one corolla altis black and it also has some scratches seems like the dealership does not care while washing the car before delivering it to the customer which left marks on darker colors

Aoa i hav also booked 1.3 ATIV CVT with Toyota Capital with delivery in Oct. Please recommend me the tyre dealer with recommended tyre and accessories shop from where i buy mats, mudflaps, airpress etc.

I talked with a tyre buy he said 185/65/15 is best fit for yaris other bigger size don't look good if you go for 195 the uy 195/60/15

Salam every one thank you all for sharing your experiences ,Im among those who disliked the car from 2018 (I was in KSA at that time) now moving on even today height issue concerns me ,but reading here comments plus disappointment on city booking time i was in need of urgent car (currently driving city 1.3 prosmatic) booked ATIV 1.3 felt best value for money ,owned 1.6 corolla and absolutely love the car but some how booking time is unbelievable ,now my tentative arrival time is Oct and would appreciate your guidance in changing tyres ? body kit ? and other goodies ,Planning to install cruise since daily drive is ring road or motorway travelling

AoA, Can anybody have swapped Vitz 99 engine from 1.0 to 1.3 ?
If yes then what grade of oil should be used for better fuel economy ?

A correction from my side: I had previously said that the rain falling on the top of the car caused a lot of noise. I drove the car in heavy rain on Saturday and I was very wrong. There was no such noise this time so, clearly I was mistaken the last time.

Also, I've heard that the average on a new car gets progressively better so I just wanted to confirm this. My car is giving me a horrible average for now. But i think it's improving.

well, I can tell you the look of the 195/65 is very good. And I am facing NO issue with regards them touching the body anywhere. However, I do not know if they will impact the suspension in the long run. If someone else can comment on this, it would be really helpful.

Same here my car is also on 5 km/l and now it stands on 10.5km/l (250km driven) so yes it will improve overtime

@hassamullahusmani, if you get mudflaps installed in your car, let me know i want to inspect how it get installed. I visited Tariq Road market but they were saying it needs holes to be done to get those fixed which doesn't make sense to me .

Ok guys im getting alot of engine noise from my 1.5 ativ x cvt. Only 18k driven. Will be taking to dealership on weekend. Though its nothing extra ordinary. But the noise is not consistant with such a low mileage car.

I reckon 5w30 is the culprit. Previously i was getting 5w50. None the less will be taking to dealership

I was planning on getting mudflaps but since they are not compatible with the body kit, I have no choice but to forget about em. I'll be installing the body kit in a few days inshaa Allah. However, we have a brother in the whatsapp group who has shown in a youtube video that you don't need holes on the body but rather holes on the mudflaps instead. Zahid has done the right thing. Instead of drilling holes in the bumper he opted for drilling the mudflaps instead (they are cheap replacement, bumpers aren't). They are working fine for him. I floated the idea to a local shop and he was totally blank. Somehow people cant wrap their heads around the idea of not drilling holes in the bumper.
