Got my 1.5 day before yesterday and had the tyres changed to Dunlop Veuro 302, what an amazing change in drive it was, road grip and responsiveness increased immediately, road noise reduced and the overall drive experience changed to exceptionally well. From the showroom the alignment of the car was off and tend to slide off to the right, had to keep the steering wheel tilted to keep the car straight, so first thing today went to the dealer had the wheels aligned. Now all is good. Getting average of 10.4 to 12 right now which is not very impressive even though am driving average speed of mid 20 to 40's km/h. Hopefully this will improve. My last car was Honda Steematic and instantly I felt the same experience with Yaris, people who do not have CVT 7 speed experience will struggle in the beginning to find the sweet spot of driving experience, this is not a typical automatic and the drive power management is very different from manual / traditional automatics. The sound system is ok and still am on a learning curve to understand its behavior, however Bluetooth phone connection is pathetic and during calls voice starts to break in pings and dings, don't know if this is a software or hardware issue, unfortunately the person responsible for stereo maintenance was not available at the Toyota dealer so couldn't have it checked out. Don't want to throw in a cheap 1gb Chinese sound system and open to suggestions for alternates and options if someone can suggest.
