I have driven Yaris 1.3 Ativ cvt for abt 9500 km and during tour to naran belt started giving normal sound upon acceleration. Kindly guide how to resolve this issue

You will be wasting your money by oil change. Your issues are not related to engine oil.
Also, using thick oil in modern engines will ruin them in the long run. The idea of thick oil is obsolete these days.

Aoa,
I have heard that Dealership forces you to get veh registration through them on delivery day. My veh Ativ X is going to arrive by mid of Sep IA. And I dont want to get my veh registered through the dealer. Anyone who can share their recent experiences. PS I have booked my car through Toyota GT Motors.

I think it is very difficult to get the stock size in branded tyres. Mostly dealers will recom 185 65 15. Atleast thats what happened with me during my last two tyre changes for my Swift

When I start the car, it also makes some kind of tickling noise. When its in P or when I put it in R or in N but after a while it goes away. Is it normal?

I also got tyres changed of my Ativ X to Yokohama BluEarth ES32 and difference is significant. The ride become smooth and no noise. Highly recommend to get the tires changed if you want to enjoy new machine to fullest.

Finding stock size 185/60/R15 is a big challenge (imported or smuggled), closest is 185/65/R15 this offsets the speed reading to +1.5 so if. Your speed reads 120 the car would actually be doing 122 or 123 km/h

Just ask them to handover documents to you. Dealership charges way more than actual price. In my case they qouted 80k while I just registered in under 60k by myself.

I had booked mine online through toyota portal and there was a condition that the vehicle shall be registered by the dealership. I talked to IMC & the delivering dealership (toyota islamabad) they were charging 5k for registration. However I insisted that I will register the vehicle myself. On arrival of the vehicle they handed me the documents (invoice & sales certificates) and said to get the vehicle registered and delivery of vehicle will be given once it has been registered. It is toyota policy that vehicles booked online will only be delivered after registration.

However one challenge was faced as for registration in islamabad physical inspection of vehicle is mandatory. As the vehicle was at the dealership, i talked to the excise inspectors and they signed the papers on seeing the pictures of the vehicle and its engine & chasis number plates. dealership had whatsapped the pics on the spot. And thats how the vehicle was registered.

When you say the engine is loud in idle, does that mean engine revs go high or some other kind of sound?
Also, how old is your vehicle? Mileage?

booking my 1.3 gli mt tomorrow in Islamabad ,i really hope they do get me my car delivered in October although some members got the basic manual version in as little as 25 days ,do i need to add wht in pay order or it is given at time of delivery invoice is 2443000 in isb (invoice+ freight )

i am confused between silver and white but going for silver it looks best in non alloy variant ,infact alloy rim design imo are the main thing that make the local yaris look hideous

Silver is a good colour. Dark gray metallic is also a good option as Yaris looks quite nice in it. But dark gray requires frequent cleaning in our dusty environment.

Same thing that come in my mind that alloy rims are small as compared to steel rims. With steel rims car looks somewhat better.
