Denitro has shared with me in another topic - that he felt a difference of only 1km . following was the conversation:
"Using Goodyear 195/65/15. It has further Increased the comfort and grip. Haven't really gotten the mileage yet as I have only driven it for 1300kms. However, the Midi says 15km/l after being motorway driven on speeds of 130-140km"
"did you drive on the stock tires or change it straight away? maybe if you drove on the stock for sometime you can make a comparison of both the tires in terms of cabin noise, softness and milage between the two?"
"I drove the stock for 400kms. They definitely have a higher noise ratio. Tyre grip was good though. I drive on Islamabad highway which is chocked with traffic. I was able to achieve a 16km/l average using stock once. The new ones are giving me 14.6~15km/l as of now. They are taking the jumps well. The car doesn't dip as it does with the stock tyres. Noise has been reduced. The car has been driven 1500km now including motorway travel. All good for me."
"Stocks will get harder by 20,000km. By that time your Old tyres will hold no value. Maybe you well be able to sell them for 1500~2000Rs. And then you will have to get new tyres anyway which will cost you around 55k to 60k.
If you buy now, the good branded tyres will last for 100,000kms easily. You can have the stocks adjusted for a decent price. You will probably have to pay 25 to 30k after adjustment which is still good in my opinion."
