Can't wait to get my hands on the SUPER WHITE beauty. I had been long waiting to buy a new car. Had ALMOST bought used gli in 25.4, 25.5 and 25.75.. All of them were sold out the moment i reached location. Was really sad why luck ducked me, EVERY. FREAKIN.TIME. But then came the news of Yaris. Good i waited. I will now buy a brand new product, 0 meter and in same price as a used 2018 gli. Less spacy? Meh!! Goodies in new GLI outweighs the only advantage in ex GLI.

Obviously that is why it is being called ATIV.

Theirs a gli base variant
1.3 Ativ just like we had 1.6 Altis Corolla some goodies not all.

1.5 has push start, DRLs, a better meter, and maybe a shark fin antenna, chrome handles, touch screen too some what Altis grande like features to differ it.

Altho the shark antenna isnt their on the grey car displayed at the launch event.

The basic Gli variant if priced rightly would kill Cultus, Picanto, Vitz, Passo market.

Well, i have feelings that, sooner or later Indus will launch XLI aswell.

Honda India also postponed CITY 2020 launch on 16th March due to COVID-19. Indus will not hold the ceremony as section-144 is imposed in Punjab by the government.

Most probably no Xli, if a Xli would be planned it would probably at the price point of Swift which wont happen. I guess since Cultus picanto Swift dont offer a basic variant yaris wont too, just like Baleno and city.

Thats exactly what they will do, yesterday I spoke with Toyota Walton Lahore and they said launch will be on social media only due to corona.

NOT CONFIRM: It is possible that IMC might put the brochure for Yaris on their website today

You were right ! Called the dealership today, they will launch it on 27th March (no news of any delay so far).
But the prices are a bit higher (not confirmed yet obv) but 1.3 CVT will be for 26, 1.3 ATIV CVT for around 27.5 and 1.5 Ativ X for 29+
I hope my information is wrong and the prices that you and pakwheels has shared few days back are right.
Lets see
1.3 CVT will be the main bread and butter for them. I hope they price it reasonably and sensibly.
