Cruise can be installed in Yaris 1.5 Ativ X CVT just for 5 to 6 thousands

Yes, I've heard , but I am novice, and not a "car guy". I feel uncomfortable trusting my and family's life to an aftermarket accessory at highway speeds. Is the electronics/circuit board for cruise already in every Yaris by default? Then why wont Indus offer it themselves?

Also, wont it void the warranty/electrical warranty in Toyota Indus' eyes? I fully expect them to deny warranty in case of any fault in car.

Its plug and play dear, literally. Its the ecu that controls the cruise system. If you dont trust the chinese ones, you can get grande ones, both used and new and you are good to go.
Electrical Warranty will be void definitely and toyota might introduce the facelift version, much like what they did in grande, with cruise, center console at right place and other gimmicks.

Dont know why but its kind of performing better when with eco on

Hi just some advise required, i will be taking delivery of Yaris tomorrow, should i get "AFR 2022" number plates made in the mean time till car doesn't get registered or will it be better to use the Dealership "Applied For" sticker

I dove with applied for sticker for about a month, its allowed to use it for a month if u have applied for registration

The registration process doesnt take long. Just register your car get the registration number and get a copy of the number plate made. As the number plate would take time to be received at home door step. Once you get the original replace them.

I may be wrong but from what I recall Multan motorway has a gradient you can definitely see affecting mileage.
It gives better than expected mileage one way, and then worse then expected going other way, at least on Lahore-Multan part. Might be also the case in Sukkur part, you should see average on return trip and then take mean of both averages.

Dear sukkur altitude is 70m while multan is at 120m wrt sea level. 50m for a stretch of 400kms is nothing.
Also, lahore is at 220m only and 320 km apart from multan.

I am not finding genuine toyota Yaris mudflaps anywhere in Karachi. I have ordered one from Sehgal Motors and seen couple of them on local shops but they are not genuine as they do not fit perfectly specially the rear ones. I saw Toyota central motors ad and they claim they have the genuine designed for Yaris mudflaps available but I doubt. Anybody has any experience with Toyota Central Motors regarding it? and any local shop who has genuine mudflaps available which can fit perfectly? I would appreciate if somebody can help me out with the search.

I have installed it for 8K in Lahore Genuine Japanese stick plus even wire was with harness so no cutting or anything its bolt to bolt fitting .Using it regularly on ring road can share experience if needed

AOA Everyone. I am planning to buy Yaris 1.3 ATIV CVT. I have some questions in this regard?

1. What is the average consumption of the car (both city and long drive)?
2. Consumption wise (both city and long drive), is 1.5 variant better or not?
3. Are the provided tyres really that bad that they require immediate change?
4. Is it true that due to arm rest only 2 adults could comfortably sit in the back seats despite the flat surface?

Tyre is not bad. I am using it and have no complains. Do not go for the immediate change. Try some kilometers and then jump to conclusion. Also regarding the arm rest. yes it annoys rear passangers a bit but its completely wrong if you say due to that you cannot fit in three passengers. It also depends which car you were driving before. Obviously if you will compare it with corolla and civic, then yes its a bit bothering.

I have a City 1.5 2020 model and KIA Picanto A/T 2020 Model. I am replacing KIA Picanto with Yaris.

1) Currently without AC since Dec my Car is giving me between 12.5-13.0 in Gulberg/ModelTown/Cavalry Area, on motorway it gives 14.5-15 (120-130km/h) easily however on GT Road i got 17-18 from Lahore to Faisalabad. With AC the average drops on 11-11.5 in City but on motorway there isn’t any significant difference.
2) One of my relatives have a 1.5 CVT and they get almost similar average in city (but 1.5 consumes more fuel during rush hours when car is idling so 1.5s average drops lower than 1.3 when AC is on) and on highway we travelled the same distance with Cruise On and my car gave 14.6 and 1.5 gave 15.4).
3) The Tyres are above average and you can manage without changing but still i got CC6 185/65 installed and now the overall driving experience is slightly better.
4) 3 average adults can manage in city and on short trips but on long trips it could be not very comfortable. In my opinion there is enough leg room even for the person in the middle but he would have to divide his legs on either side of the armrest, and secondly the back seat is not as wide as a Corolla’s so there isn’t enough shoulder room for 3 people if you are slightly heavy.

I own a Yaris Ativ 1.3 CVT and have driven it almost 16-17000KM, i hope you have gotten the answers you were looking for.
