Thank you so much. One more question. I have also an option to buy 2020 Gli Automatic (12k mileage). I am torn between the two despite my inclination/ preference towards buying a zero meter car. Your thoughts?

Indeed, a very tough decision to make! Although I own Yaris 1.3 MT, but following my instincts, I suggest buying GLI 2020, despite the fact I have never owned a car with an automatic transmission. Just my gut feeling, I could be totally wrong too! However, before Yaris I owned a manual GLI 2010 and was extremely satisfied with that too. The rest is your choice.

I have also owned a GLi Auto (bought it zero meter, drove till 40000Km and then sold it to buy a Yaris and i am completely satisfied). Initially i was also confused whether it is the right decision or not but when i got the delivery and drove Yaris i was happy that it was a good decision. Corolla GLi Auto was launched in 2014 and is going to be replaced by a new generation soon and other than extra space and better looks in Corolla, Yaris will fulfill all your needs plus it also has extra features along with a very smooth and better driving experience than gli auto plus it will be brand new. Also Yaris is slightly compact and has a significantly smaller turning radius than corolla so i find it really easy to maneuver during rush hours and parking is also a lot easier.

Does anyone has an idea what this is? Found it in the cupholder space of my Yaris. Have no clue where it came from?

Ok figured it out...

These are to cover the water egress holes at the bottom end of the doors. They prevent water staying inside the doors to avoid rusting.

Just remembered that my Toyota dealership removed these at 1000km inspection.

When I asked them about these they apologised and said that these should have been removed prior to delivery or at the delivery time as per IMC instructions.

They also reprimanded the guy who delivered the car right there & then as to why he didn't follow the SOPs.

I told them to put all these in the arm rest compartment.

Probably they failed to remove one which fell down yesterday when the driver got the car washed; having no clue he Probably placed it in the cup holder.

Today looking at this particular part, I just remebered that there are a few other rubber parts in the glove box in a small plastic bag.

Those were to be installed prior to delivery underneath the car (places marked on the container) to avoid water entry.

There were clear instructions on the plastic bag containing those that Dealership must fit these underneath the car before delivery but it was all English and probably no one at my dealership knows English .. or they are plain careless and don't give a dawn about IMC's SOPs.

Actually my bad, I should have made more effort and looked at those earlier.

In city around 13/14 ,Long specially motorway closed to 17/18

Consumption wise (both city and long drive), is 1.5 variant better or not?
1.5 in my view will have slight better fuel avg due to better power to weight ratio .

Are the provided tyres really that bad that they require immediate change?
Yes they are absolutely fine no need to change them

Is it true that due to arm rest only 2 adults could comfortably sit in the back seats despite the flat surface?
Yes some how the position of arm rest is bad 2 adults and one kid can sit comfortably

when you release the parking brake and put the car in D in gets turned on what I have noticed. when you turn on the headlights it will turn off automatically.

Look at the marked area.... the very bottom of each door.
There are three on each door; all of these are to be removed.

I am looking to upgrade from a hatchback and have shortlisted Yaris after reviewing competition. That's step 1, now I am pondering over which variant of Yaris to get between 1.3 ATIV CVT and 1.5 ATIV CVT. My car will mostly be running in the Karachi city with one or two yearly trips to the north. Will 1.3 be enough or should I really get the top spec?
