Without any competition, Indus won't add any feature before its mid cycle. If Atlas launch new City then we can expect more goodies in Yaris.

More features was added into corolla in 2016 because Atlas launched Civic at that time.

Lets see which features they are going to offer In fully Loaded Pkdm yaris at launch. If Vsc and traction control not appear in fully loaded, then paddle shifters and cruise control are doubtful after a year.

There is a time for new City but Hyundai is launching Elantra with 1.6 in September. If they price it around 30 lakh, it will be a good competition for our auto market.

Honda Atlas should have started the test runs until now... They are getting very lazy. We are two generations behind the international city

new City is not coming here for at least 1-2 years. You need a lot of time to bring up a new production line, test cars etc.

Atlas is busy minting money selling Honda Mehran (City) and people continue to buy it. Yes, XLI is as bad as City.

Brother wants 7 airbags in the price of City (which has 0 airbags). Even his Civic doesn't have 7 airbags, or was it Grande. Also whining about new engine tech, and wants old tech.

Hasn't seen the car in person, was able to miraculously touch the car and evaluate its paint quality.

Comparisons are done with what is available in local market in same price bracket. If we compare it with international variants, then city all around the world is generation ahead. Old generation picanto is launched in pakistan.

Toyota is introducing yaris which is a new generation. It has better features compared to the same price bracket cars in Pakistan. Its engine is new but then Alto 660 engine was also new. WagonR 1000cc k18 engine was also new. When something new comes, people tend to resist it and its natural.

For someone who already owns a new model city, its not advisable for them to spend again and buy yaris. Why would they buy a yaris when they already have a brand new car that is not giving them trouble. Yaris is for someone who is looking for changing their old cars to new car.

You need to relax and discuss in positive way, you have unrealistic expectations and complaining like an old hag without being rational.
