Hy,
My car battery terminal betrayed due to carbon. I jump started it for 3 to 4 time and due to spark I guess.
My driver door window auto roll up and auto roll down stoped working can some one confirm where its fuse box is located so i can check fuse.
And 2nd most important can some one send me service or workshop manual

And how should i clean carbon from battery terminal. My yaris is 21 model I guess duo to carbon not charging properly which cause starting problem even after 24hours no tracker installed

There is no such fhing as carbon on a battery terminal.

The white flufff you see is lead sulphate, to clean it you use a water solution of baking soda. It will bubble it away, then you can coat the terminal with petroleum jelly and baking soda.

Battery Query
can i use my Cultus AGS battery in Yaris 1.3 for the time being ?
Yaris was not started for 06 days, today when i tried, it did not respond. so can i use my Cultus battery in Yaris to take it to the mechanic ?
or can i use it for 2-3 days in same situation ? (with Cultus battery)

Yes, if it is able to start your yaris.

BUT make sure you connect the wires correctly or it fires...

this is an update on the above query.
i started Yaris with my Cultus battery. cultus battery terminals are smaller in size so my friend had to hold them in place & i started the car. took out Cultus battery while car was start & then again put in the old battery & connected the terminals & took it to the battery shop. battery got charged on the way & it is all fine till today morning

Better buy a battery charger or jumper cables to avoid this hassle.

i have a pair of Jumper cable but it is of no use. bought from Metro & it is of so very low quality that it does not serve the purpose & also gets heated up whenever i try to jump start a car.
will now be going for custom made wire to help in such situation

I have bought a used Yaris 1.3 Ativ 8k driven since then I have drove about 3k I am not speed enthusiast and its giving me about 13km/l which as per new car standards I think on a lower side. As far as drive is concerned suspension is hard more like Honda not like corolla. Pick is also moderate. Overall i would say its neither a great car nor a bad one its a decent small sedan for daily commute.
Upgrades
I am not after market accessories fan like chromes or spoilers so didn't install any such thing.
However I have done the following upgrades which I recommend every yaris owner because these things add premium features in your car and all are plug and play with no extra wiring.
1. Retractable Mirrors. with auto folding and unfolding and have dedicated switch. Just need to know if anyone else has installed it do the retractable button has led in it or not because mine doesn't
2. Mud flaps
3. Cruise Control (mine is without led but i saw stick is available with led on aliexpress)
4. Navigation System with rear camera makes reversing too easy. I installed front camera as well but will not recommend anyone there is no use of it.
5. Bonnet namda it reduces your engine sound.
6. DRLs

Placement of coolant reservoir in Yaris makes it difficult see the marking of minimum and Max level.

And after how many KMs or period of time do we need to change the complete coolant.

Turn on your mobile phone flashlight.
Touch the light on one side of bottle. Observe the level on the other side, all will be illuminated.

The coolant life is 160,000 kms or 3~4 years before it need any change. Do not refill with water.

clean it, use a kalam to cover it and forget it....

it hardly matters, dry denting or repainting it will only devalue the car. leave it as is

Hi! Dear Pakwheelers, I seek your kind help on my Yaris' windscreen spray nozzles. Whenever I use my windscreen washer, the nozzles do not spray water on the screen, instead it goes onto the car roof. The nozzles' angle is totally out of alignment. I took my car to 3S for their angle adjustment, but the technician there said that Yaris does not have adjustable spray nozzles. Please suggest some solution to this as I face a lot of problem while cleaning the windscreen, especially on the motorway or even in the city as I have to get out of my car and pour water manually to achieve the desired result. And if I could use some other car's spray nozzles, for example Corolla's.

if you have visited 3S, ask them to fix this issue. If the nozzle is not adjustable then either the nozzle is faulty or something has changed the angle

My old cultus has the adjustable nozzle then why yaris doesn't strange!!

Hi Experts,

The tyres must be rotated every 10k kilometers, according to the manual.
Is it worth it, or can the wheel balancing be done while the tyres are rotated?

Need recommendations for trickle charger, yaris 1.5 , with tracker , on pakwheel store only sogo trickle charger available, if anyone has experience of it or a better one kindly share.

Recommended for equal wear of tyres so at time of replacement all four are changed at same time on equal wear

need recommendation for anti-freeze coolant to be used in radiator.
should i use the anti-freeze coolant before the journey or should i keep the coolant which is already there (factory filled) ?
