Top up using the same factory filled coolant. Never mix two types of coolants.

My yaris 1.5 is making a vibration sound from the engine bay and it only comes when I accelerate the car with a light foot. Is there anyone else experienced this issue? It was not there before, there might be a loose bolt or something like this which vibrates at low RPM

I will visit the dealership on the next oil change

I use Valvoline Fully Synthetic 5W-30 but I am not satisfied with the results

The thigh support of Toyota Yaris front seats is low. Is there any solution to it? While driving on long trips it becomes tyring. I also have Suzuki Alto (imported version) and it has better thigh support on the front seats.

i have too, we have two yaris 1.5 and 1.3. both are auto and both have same issue infact i have seen many other yaris with same issue. I sold my 1.3Ativ last year just becuase of the issues in clutch and as you know the warranty claim is terrible is pakistan. i took 2month just to indentify the issue and then they started the new drama of parts availaibilty and gave me a time of 1 more month.. in the meanwhile i sold my car to toyota sure..

Mine works very well. Infact first throw of washer fluid is less and get higher on 2nd and third attempt.
Try using a proper washer fluid if you are using just water. I assume washer fluid is going to be denser and keep lower

I have attitude black color and it's soo irritating to see my car continuously covered in dust particles and left scratches most of the time
Asked the guy at showroom he suggested to go for compound it'll minimize/remove scratches
what you guys suggest ?

Don't compound. Compounding remove a thin layer of the paint in order to remove scratches. Almost all the car wash services use improper wash techniques, so scratches will definitely come back.

A good solution is to use a product that can fill the scratches temporarily. It will improve the look of swirls a lot.
As an example, Scratch Clear Wax is a such kind of product which can gently polish, fill, and leave a layer of wax behind for protection. Such products are known as AIO (All-In-One)

Hi guys,

So I've finally clocked my first 3400km on my Ativ X. I did the 1st free service at 1000km in which Toyota Central Motors (Karachi) didn't do anything major and wasted a couple of my hours. I believe the first oil is to be changed at 3000km so:

Should I go to Toyota for oil change and waste hours or get it done from any other place: Shell (Askari, Karachi)?

Do I absolutely need to use Toyota's Taglon X 5W-30 oil or other options are just as good and recommended? Shell has its HX7 5W-30 & Helix Ultra 5W20, 5W40. Any other suggestions? Does Semi Synthetic or Fully Synthetic matter?

Please suggest your opinions New to car maintenance

oil change is required at 5,000 kms, no need at 3,000
get it changed from toyota, otherwise they may make issues in any warranty claims

I heard by some friends that 1st oil should be changed below 3000, also I got the car in August 2022 so it's almost been 6 months so that's why I was asking.

Though talked with Toyota today and they also said to change oil after 5000kms

Just came back from northern areas.
First trip on my Yaris 1.5 Ativ X. from Karachi to Kiwai (Shugran)

My observation about Yaris

car is stable till 140km/hr, after that it losing road grip. on Stock tyres.
Never felt any under power issue on inclining hill.
Breaking is perfect as travelling from Hyderabad to Sukkur its national highway, some time using of harsh breaking is necessary due bike wala or trucks sudden lane change. but breaking is perfect.

Fuel Average
On motorway speed 120 to 130 it gives 13.5 to 14 km/l
Overall nice experience of Yaris.
