Hi guys,

How you evaluate reliable???
I have seen many C-Track trackers hooked off from vehicle and tracking company has no knowledge.

I have worked on GPS systems in US for years, I can provide you hidden details which even tracking company employees dont know.

All companies are providing imported tracker, C-Track is providing from South Africa, Win Track & I-track are providing from same source in Taiwan, U-track from UK...

They have no control over hardware installed in vehicle except what foreign manufacturer provide them. It is so easy to disable these imported tracker.

In addition, Their remote Engine cut off/ Engine immobilizers are work of kids.

One of my friend runs a rent a car, he got his tracker stolen by customer. Should I need to mention the tracker was from C-Track. He got his vehicle recovered after 2 months having no engine, no tracker, no CNG, no Wheels, lot of interior stuff missing.

Many guys here are just kids and promoting their companies just to make their sales. They have no indepth knowledge how real world rolls.

Think wisely before taking steps.

Why tracker? do you have any solid reason? Just want to protect, if some want to steal they know how to dealt with tracker

Why dont you go for INSURANCE? At least you get mind peace. Either you got accident or stolen in both case you get handsome recovery, what;s the fun in Tracker?

how abt insurance and tracker both most of the leased cars now a days gets tracker and yeah the recovery payment rate of insurance companies is slow so the chance of getting the same car back is far much more possible with the tracker installed and yeah installing a tracker is just a self satisfaction which the owner of the car wants!

Dear Arazas and Cherokee73,
I am not misguiding any one.
If tracker is of no use why it is installed in 80% leased / financed vehicles?
why there are more then 20 tracking companies working?
why every company is submitting minimum 89% recoery rate to its authority PTA?
why peaple are still interested in installing tracker?

Look there are few cases in which vehicle is not recovered, some of them are:
Trible area
If the vehicle owner is him self involved in theft case (Most of cases in Leased vehicles)
Snatching case in which vehicle owner is also kidnapped by the criminals.

So tracker is a complete feild and a professional tracker company does not rely on the tracking device only, they have got contacts and many other tools to recover a vehicle. Many people come to tracking company who dont have any contact in police or other govt departments to recover a stolen vehicle so they just pass thier responsibility on tracking company.

As far a insurance is concerend there are lot of difficulties while getting a total loss or stolen claim. I have a 1.8iVtec civic and i waited for 20 days for a claim of 28000.

I pray no one has a experience like i had. I lost my new honda accord cl9. and could not find. and my friend's vehicle was snatched and recovered by SimTrak in 30 Mins and gang was also caugth.

I agree with you. you write all hidden truth here but its not always about 100% security some time you need clues which can be only available if you have tracker install in your vehicle. at least they tell you vehicles last location which helps law enforcement agencies.
and secondly fleet owners & commercial car owner need to monitor their vehicles which could not be possible without gps devices
