if you opting for comprehensive insurance, then why do you want to install tracker? confirm first if warranty will be voided or not

I'm using v track anti jammer tracker from 2016. I haven't faced any issue in basememnts or nearer to jammers.
They only called me once that your tacker Isn't sending location so visit our office to get a new tracking device which took them only 30 minutes to fit.

I have vtrack from igi insurance..no issue woth warranty. Igi is one of the biggest insurance companies here and they won't give comprehensive insurance without tracker. Vtrack never gave me any issues so far

It may be the biggest in the universe. Can u ask them where did they take the power for the tracker device? Which wire was cut or from the ecu? Whichever wire is tempered during installation voids the warranty of that specific area. This is a fact. Many claims by indus have been cancelled due to wire tampering during tracker installation. And even if ecu is tempered or additional wire is brought from it warranty of entire electrical is void.

Bro first thing is i wanted insurance..and insurance company needs tracker installation as madatory requirement. Secondly.. indus dealerships allows installation within their showroom premises. Even if warranty gets void...still insurance is way more important for an expensive car and that's why almost everyone opts for me. Secondly even with tracker installed in my office cars.. warranty claims were made without any issue. This could be due to better installation or something else but again we need insurance somehow. Igi is kind of better name in case of customer service. Its not mandatory to go for insurance but i thought it as important

Interestingly they offered me extended warranty after 3 days of tracker installation:) and they knew i had tracker installed. Since tracker was installed even before delivery to me...i opted for extended warranty as well. So they have to claim of anything is needed.

Bhai jaan sab maan liya... Tracker is a good and a bad thing both. What im saying is the specific area tempering. A tracker cannot be installed without tempering of some wire. And even tpl offers insurance without tracker now.

Bhai if u have used insurance here igi and efu are the best ones who at least claim in time. Plus requirement of trakker was only for toyota vehicles and thats was in December last month. Anyways wire is spliced for power and this is how its installed everywhere in world. It impacts nothing..unless installed by some idiot. If someone don't wanna install it's his choice but igi forced me with this and with my experience with insurance companies I wanted igi in any case. Everyone has his choice

Tracker isn't mandatory for cars with immobilizer.

Igi wasn't claiming my car as they have to change rack worth 1 lac coz toe was bent due to hit on rim. Rim was fine and it got repaint, but the insurance guy kept saying sir toe change karwa lein china walay lagwa kar, rack is fine toyota walton said we won't give you any warranty if you change toe only. He kept my car at walton for two days and asked for police report. In the end he rejected authentic police report that this police report doesnt have chassis number, than I got furious and called my bank. Bank called igi head office, and work started in 30mins when he received direct call from igi headoffice karachi.
