The selfish trend of the people of Karachi has been cemented in. Any argument of common sense or betterment is immediately subjected with,
"tumharay baap ka hai"
"mera masla nahi"
"dimagh nahi khao"
"ledeez hain" (ladies hain - most even call 1 lady a "ladies")
"jaante nahi hum kon hain"
"protocol tufaili type" - hoping to rub off some pomp from the host (chailay)
these have literally taken over the mindset like the fungus you see in the amazon jungle that infects brains of ants etc and makes it do whatever it likes.
The starting point of this rot is at your schooling (both home and outside) - for Pakistani people as long as "farr farr angrezi" and tootoozafore is repeated like a parrot by their children - the parents think their job is done no matter if their children literally are hurting others in their normal lives. The concept of "empathy" makes a man/woman a weakling in Pakistan and is usually targeted for other petty crimes. - It doesnt help that the average grad is basically going to get a salary well below the poverty line in Pakistan - then you get political goons recruiting youngsters by romancing guns, duress and gang culture. Its a proper tight knit circle - the rot has literally cemented itself in.
The only way to fix it is to undo the cause of this rot - which cannot be done easily as education has become a goods, parenting means producing children just because others will think the new couple is "damaged" if they dont have a brood. The true way to fix it - is to actively fix it at micro level (singular person level) - orwait for a massive revolution of change - which may or may not happen in your lifetime as a big change has usually been seen every 1 or 2 centuries.
The other most famous concept of "jury rigging" aka "jugaar" has crept into every factor of life - everyone wants the cheapest way possible for any work done, e.g. people will not pay for quality work but would want the shortcut out - you can see yourselves the literal spider webs of cables and lines zigzagging every apartment building in Karachi - as if spiders on coffee were spinning webs - yet we are "ashraful makhlooqaat" - and still are stuck in arachnid point of brain evolution.
People wanted the easy way of being lazy and buying a 30K PKR chinese 70cc bike because using the bus means being punctual and waking up in the morning - nopes - I want to be lazy as hell and then drive like a lunatic to make up time. - fast forward 10 years and you have no buses going around because it was a private business, no one will invest money into a dead system, the Qingqi stupid rickshas came out which are an abomination in every sense which made everything worse - yet people still are busy buying mclarens and other extreme expensive to share the road with donkey carts and rickshas. - The irony is of collosal level - its beyond laughable - which does nothing more than widen the wadi of the haves and have nots.
The methodology to fix it is to actually start being human - the recipe is literally there in everyones brains, Forcing a motive can eek a response out but dont expect starting changes for about another 50 to 75 years as this generation is already a gone case.
