I have a 2WD Diahatsu Mira 2012 and the manual says I need to change the Transfer Oil & Rear Differential Oils however someone told me that rear differential is only for 4WD cars. He was not sure about Transfer Oil. Does this also only apply to 4WD cars?
I guess the car manual is for bothe 2WD and 4WD variants.
Yes, manuals are usually printed as one for all the variants of a car. Your FWD Mira does not have a transfer case or rear differential to begin with. This is for the AWD variant only. You only need to look at transmission, engine, brake oil.
