Travel advice required for gilgit

I want to visit gilgit for 5 days in September by air with my wife and two year old son. Last year I visited hunza valley upto pasdu, skardu, deosai, shiger, kachura lakes and sadpara lake.

This year I don't want to repeat already visited site and start trip with two days in naltar valley. Kindly give sugesstion where to spend next two days like rama or phander. Sites should be near gilgit as we have to catch flight from gilgit airport on fifth day.

Thats good. I have toured Gilgit few days ago- 10-16 July. It is a conjested single Bazar jampacked mostly with cars in peak sesson. U can get 3 bed room from 3 to 6 thousand per night. Many New hotels are there. Try to stay at the entrance to city not inside. Weather is hot like your own city. It doesnt provide any worth seeing place. Few phone no of hotels , PTDC (05811)45 42 62,

My question was I have 4 days out of which 2 days have to be spend in naltar valley where to go next two days i dont want to go to hunza side as i have seen it last year and place should be not too far from gilgit as I have to catch flight on 5th day morning.

go to ghizer specially phandar lake and stay there for a night.. you will remember it for a long time

Ghizer also offer stunning views of colour changing of leaves during autumn. So it is a recommended place.
There are two ptdc motels on way first is at gupis and second one is at phunder both ideally located and beautiful . Every kind of quality food is available. As you are going some off season so check availability of food in advance.

As per my knowledge you need a jeep for phunder but it will a memorable experience if you opt
