Damb is a small fishermen village in Lasbela district of Balochistan. It about 2 hour drive from Karachi on RCD highway. Once you cross Winder, you'll have a left turn towards Damb road which will lead you to small village. There is a small fish harbour on one side of the village and a beach on the other side. Most fishermen here are dependent on crabs, shrimps and small fish which is used to make bird feed.
If you're a health conscious person, then be ready for some really bad smell of rotten fish which will welcome you once you enter Damb Road. This smell will keep on following you until you reach the harbour. There are mobile signals, electricity and other basic facilities in village but this place stinks dead fish.
One amazing thing about this place is on one side there is that vast desert and on the other side is the blue ocean. If you're lucky, you might also get a chance to see some dolphins jumping out of the sea. Damb can become center of many adventure activities if properly maintained. Its desert is much like of Dubai and can become a popular attraction for desert safari and dune bashing. On the other hand we have this vast beach most suitable for swimming and fishing.
