I am new to these forums & want your Prestigious suggestions for visit to Neelum valley for 05 days starting from 28th of Aug-2012, with my 04 friends & brief details of our prog z as below:

28th: Departure from Sheikhupura at 06:00 AM on XLI-Corolla
Aim is to stay at Neelum view hotel Muzaffarabad or Saran rest house Pir chinasi (Please advise which z better)
29th: Want to reach Keran & stay there next night (Please advise few places in between for small photo sessions & Lunch etc if any)
30th & 31st: We dont have any plan, infact dont hv much info about better places there (Please advise few better places where we can also stay at night, & also advise about jeep fares coz i hv read in your forums that car won't go there)

Note: Please suggest places for 31st that much far so that on 1st Sept, we can reach back to Islamabad till 07:00 PM

brother, dont waste a day at muzaffarabad or pir chinasi if it is not a compulsion or must...

beauty resides ahead keran..... make no plans, just reach ancient village of sharda,,, if u can further go ahead, kel, and then toubet are waiting for you... these are the real beauties , unforgettable and un-matchable

Road is good upto keran and afterwards there is no road. Cars go there but not advisable. If you go directly to keran non stop then you can reach there in 6 hours.

yes its is very much true i think Naran is blocked due to landslide and heavy rains

brothers, yes there is a jeep track but cars can also reach kel. (not recommended specially low bed cars)

at sharda and kel u can park ur car, there are hotels, ptdc and other private hotels... more over no problem of robbery etc... han concern is the flood..... get into neeleum after getting full information regarding floods....

any update or info on the road to Kiel or Muzafarabad? are the roads blocked or are things ok? we have a plan to go to Chitta khata lake from 29th Aug onward. please provide the small iternary as well if you can, all will be done on public transport from LHR to LHR
