i m planning to a trip to islamabad murree auybia nathyagali and thandiani with my wife need compelete guidance as its my first trip in pakistan

1.we are staying for one month in murree
2.we are travelling from lahr to islamabad then leaving our driver then we have to hire a car what are the rates of a car from islamabad to mureee how much time it take to reach murree?also suggest a hotel in islamabad ranging from (500 to 1000 )per night
3. we need a hotel in murree where we can live for whole month and can visit other places and come back to the hotel in evening so suggest a cheap hotel rate ranging from 500 to 1000 only
4.name all the places where i can go specially with my wife
5.name all the places near to murree ayubia nathiagali and thandiani

everyone can suggest

I assume this will be your very first visit to the Galiyaat region. Your idea of spending one month in Galiyaat is not something alien. Lots of people have homes in galiyaat and majority of them spend long vacations but usually away from Murree. Hot spots are Khaira Gali, Khanas Pur and Nathia Gali (for long vacations).

You can divide your trip in 2 parts.

First week, stay in Murree and visit following:

• Murree town itself
• Kashmir Point
• Pindi Point
• Patriata
• Bhurban
• Kohala Picnic Point

Then follow @conflicted's advice and move on to Khanapur and find a small hut on rent there. I have spent 1 week in Khanaspur and there are lots of personal houses / huts there which are available for rent. Now from this point, it will be easy for you to cover upper areas of Galiyaat region.

Visit following:
- Ayubia
- Nathia Gali
- Dunga Gali
- Mukshpuri Trek
- Dunga Gali - Ayubia Trek
- Ayubia - Khaira Gali Trek
- Namli Maira villages below Nathia Gali
- Harnoi picnic point
- Abbottabad
- Thandiani

You should be able to get a good deal on personal house / hut in Khanaspur which will suit your budget. If that doesn't work then try to find a personal house / hut in Khaira Gali residential area which is above the main bazaar. There, again u will find many personal homes / huts which are available for rent.

I would suggest to keep your personal car with you as fuel expense will be very less per day. Otherwise renting a vehicle for 1 month will cost a lot.

Extremely sorry yaar i couldn't wait much. I decided to have lunch there and waited for around 4:30 or so but i think u guys went ahead till Shounter pass area and i had to start the return journey so could not stay night there. That was the reason i descended earlier around 3:30 p.m. against the expectations of the locals

Inshallah we will meet some other time

if u know any hut i mean their rates contact info and the condition of the hut near khanspur....all these names of places are totally new for me as i never been in northren areas thats y i need ur help....

yes Sir, we were there at Domail Bala actually we decided to wait till the evening there as the weather was great with great scenes around, first we had a discussion with some locals about a water fall that was very far, but the local said it was only 1 hour away, we decided to give it a go but then decided against it and roamed around the lake, when we came back your jeep wasnt there but yeah the world is small, we will meet some day and congrats on your successfull treks

2. Toli Peer

I have never been to these places yet, do you guys think Mira automatic will do well on these locations. Also it will be helpful if any one can guide me about the roads quality.

Banjosa will be no problem for Mira 660 but Tolipir will pose a lot of troubles at some places (bcz of steep climb)

Salam Bhai, probably I will go to Kaghan / Naran (1 week trip) on coming Saturday 06-Oct with my Hajiani and 2 kids aged 4 & 5 years (there school will disturb yar).

From Karachi to Islamabd by Air @070am
Will reach Islamabad @090am
Then to Daewoo Terminal (G-7, near CDA/Waris Shah Road) Islamabad around 15 KM by Radio/Metro Cab.
Rawalpindi/Islamabad (Daewoo) to Abbotabad (125 KM far) (3 hours drive)
Then move towards Mansehra (25 KM), Balakot (40 KM) upto KEWAI (25 KM) (drive about 2 hours)
Total drive from Pindi to Kewai will be around 5 Hours.
Then take jeep from Kewai for Shogran, Hotel Pine Park (where my friend with his family will wait for us to be stay there for 3 days at-least).
Then we will move to Naran (Hotel deManchi) and stay there also for 3 days to see Saiful-Mulook, Lalazar, Aansoo Lake etc.
Have aim to reach at Saiful-Mulook just right after Namaz-e-Fajar Insha Allah to feel the blessings of Almighty Allah.
Request to pray for us.

Completed both places on mira.... It has proved beyond my expectation.

my friend is getting married in november and he wanted to go to Gilgit or swat side immediately after it, may be in the last week of nov, can you guys suggest anything ... will a tour company help or he can do it himself, he havent gone anywhere up north before .. also he has 10 days.
