Aoa bro i have same querry as a guy said for skardu ..i m planning to visit skardu from 10 nov - 14 nov along with my wife. Please suggest me places to be visited ..Today checked shangrilla ll be off for residence so if residence over thr not aval , can we visit that place ????
I can manage to live in some mess in skardu , khaplu etc...Kindy make 4-5 days & places to be visited ....I ll be going by air..Your help is highly appreciated.
Btw i m also inclined towards kashmir , ll visit kasmir after visit of skardu ...as i have urge to see places like sigar port , hunza valley & shangrilla.

Please keep enough cushion for number of days as flights may get cancelled due to bad weather. Skardu night temperature is already below 5 and after a month it will be sub-zero during night and daytime will also be quite cold. So, be prepared for extreme cold weather.

Shangrila is 30 min away from main Skardu city and there are many hotels in Skardu city. The airport is between Shangrila and Skardu city.

You can still visit Shangrila Lake and Upper Kachura Lake even if u r not staying at the hotel. You can see Skardu desert, Kharpachu fort, Sadpara Lake, Shigar valley but Deosai will be closed.

Hello Gurus,
Can you please suggest me some travel guide/company as well as regions I can cover in 11 12 days for my honeymoon, I can be in Lahore by 10 Nov evening. So where shall I go for a good honeymoon in this span. what shall see can you please tell me some plan, I am pretty confused. Also, bear in mind that I would go first time in northern region. But I want to see some beautiful places. Earlier I was thinking for Hunza tour but later on after discussion with my friends cancelled it at this time.

You can cover Galiyaat and Kaghan Valley in 12 days.

Spend a week in Galiyaat region and then move on to Kaghan Valley for 4,5 days.

Couple of days in Murree.
Then move on to Nathia Gali and spend few days there.
Couple of days at Shogran, Sri Paye
Then 2,3 days in Naran.

If u don't want to go to Galiyaat then go to Kashmir and then Kaghan Valley.

Visit Banjosa Lake, Rawlakot, Toli Peer, Muzaffarabad, Pir Chinasi. Then onwards to Kaghan Valley.

Is it possible to go from khi-lhr on 100% CNG? This means that there should be a gas station after every 150kms. Is CNG available throughout the highway?

no i dont think so coz cng pump is not the only concern but also in punjab there is load shedding ....

also u wont get cng on these distances regularly. u mite need petrol for a few kms

What are the best places to visit in the winter break. (22 Dec - 5 Jan).
This is the only time available for me and my family.

1.Balakot
2.Kaghan
3.Muzaffarabad
4.Neelum Valley
5.Swat
6. Any other option

Suggestions and advice would be helpful.

If you're from Karachi and plan to visit the norther areas in winter then "Qulfi jum jae gee"! Karachiites are not used to cold weather so be careful where you decide to go. The first thing I would look out for is central heating

Though I live in Karachi nowadays, but I am basically from Northern Punjab and have lived in the north.
This is the only time available for a family trip by road in the year (schools/colleges/work).

we friends( group of 8) are planning a trip to northern areas in december....all are from karachi....
Do you guyz think it will be feasible going there in december with all snow and sardi???
