I mentioned borghil as I am not familiar with Chitral side.
Last year a member (Bruit) made it to garam chashma (28april to 3may) and took some amazing shots...

So would like to know more abt the region and weather as a whole.

Will be travelling by my 2012 Corolla XLi, sadly no ABS this time...

well all these areas like hunza,phandar,gupis and naltar will be accessible but jeep treks to inner valleys mite be closed.............in april u can get some blososm shots in hunza i guess........... early april

For hunza I ll definitely go as far as I can make it to khunjerab side, no matter how cold.
Plus the naltar, Gupis ....

For Chitral I have to do a lot of home work, as I don't know...

I prefer sticking to my car, it contains most of the stuff kids require and I really avoid shifting rides with family... So I prefer any place where a sedan can go, don't mind a lil bit of rough road banging as well (like Skardu road and besham to chillas etc)..

in ur own car as far as chitral side is concerned u can only reach main city and uptill buni.. i doubt u can go to garam chasma coz of security concerns....Bunni say agay road is not sutiable for car but u can go till harichin and sor laspur villages which are very butiful... us say agay shandoor hai but it will most probably be closed due to snow............

ur best option is hunza till sost and then u can add phandar side and naltar in it.. it will be a much more diverse plan and u dont need to shift vehicle

Day-1: islamabad to besham/chillas
Day-2: to hunza and rest
Day-3: hunza
Day-4: hunza-sost-hunza (breaks at atta'bad, borith, passu)
Day-5: hunza-Ganesh-gilgit
Day-5: gilgit-gahkuch-khalti lake-phandar-jandrot-Gilgit
Day-6: gilgit-naltar and may be back to chillas
Dua-7: chillas-islamabad

I consulted my map book after ur last msg, it's abt 3yrs old and it doesn't even show a jeep-able track between hunza-naltar.
Only trekking option is there but it's so good to know that it's connected by asphalt now
