Thanks for replying bro can you please tell why N15 isnt available? and if I go from Besham then I will still connect to N15 from Chilas, right? I can leave early morning to go straight to Gilgit. can you suggest me some places to visit from Gilgit as I would be staying in Serena Gilgit. or do you suggest to stay in Serena In in Hunza? or just couple of nights at both hotels to visit nearby places? so kindly tell me what nearby places can be visited from both locations or should I stay at only one place top visit all the nearby possible places?

N15 is not the MAIN route if u think so, the main highway actually is the N35 i.e. The KKH.
N15 is not accessible as babusar pass will be all covered in snow.
So actually the N15 is a connection between two different points of N35.

N15: mansehra to chillas (via Naran)

N35: Hassan abdal to khunjerab

well first i wud lie to know what is this place diran u have mentioned?????

secondly i think a drive like this is too hectic.. if u have 3-4 ppl driving then mayb its doable but not single driver or with family........u need to put a few days in between as rest dayz

Plan is doable, if u can manage to drive that much. Few reservations are as under:
--> 1st eservation is about Day 8 (Rama to Nathiagali). Better is to amend it to Rama-Abbotabad, because there are all the chances that u will reach Abbotabad after sunset. So going ahead to Nathiagali is not recommended

--> In July, u wont find a suitable room in 2000 in Naran and Hunza.
--> Good to see stay at Diran Guest House in ur plans, but that may also go beyond 2000 rupees.
--> Day 5 is not 170 Km. As it would involve Hunza-Khunjerab-Sost.. It would be around 240-250 km, but quite easily doable

Overall a nice plan. Best of Luck

Go to a nice place close by, why do u want to exhaust ur self and ur newly wedded better half with long travel, bare normal living facilities. Try to spend more intimate moments together close to civilisation than going to dozens of hours away, wasting time just travelling

@asifcae from diran i meant diran guest houea minapin nagar, sir we all 4 are good drivers this is basic plan we can add two days in hyd isb hyd. That's why we needed help from you Seniors to guide us to make a doable plan

Hotel rates are not final i know it would be high we have just averaged them to have an idea of total budget. Definitely we will keep + 30k.

Astore to Nathiagali in 10 hrs - well thats only mathematically possible, but it is quite likely that it will take more time. Just consider 1 case. Google says it will take 43 minutes from Chilas Zero Point to Babusar Top (41 Km). From distance it seems quite easily doable. But, it would take more than that as it is massive massive ascent of almost 3200m. To my knowledge this is one of greatest stretch of ascent in the world. So u WOULD need to make halts to give rest to car and its engine.

But i am not at all discouraging u. Just saying that dont plan timings under google map guidance.
Anyways, at least u have changed from Rama - Nathiagali to Astore - Nathiagali at least If u start early, u can reach Nathiagali (may be in 12-14 hours). U are 4 drivers, so not a big deal.
Last year i was with my family and was the only driver. i started from Gilgit at 6am and reached pindi at 10pm having done 16 hours of driving. For u it would be piece of cake comparatively.

Craving for the KKH is increasing everyday as my Annual leaves are approaching (April 7-25)...

My intention was to witness the cherry blossoms, a thorough visit of hunza.

Upon inquiry, told my spouse that it will be colder than it was at the end of October when we went there.

She wants to me make it to Karachi in these leaves, while I totally disAgree.

So gurus plz tell me if beauty of chitral side would be accessible in mentioned days or not, plus the weather of borghil (Chitral) will be same as that of hunza or less cold??

If I stick to hunza, can I easily make it to Gupis, phandar and naltar??
I know naltar would be too cold but still...

I mentioned borghil as I am not familiar with Chitral side.
Last year a member (Bruit) made it to garam chashma (28april to 3may) and took some amazing shots...

So would like to know more abt the region and weather as a whole.

Will be travelling by my 2012 Corolla XLi, sadly no ABS this time...

well all these areas like hunza,phandar,gupis and naltar will be accessible but jeep treks to inner valleys mite be closed.............in april u can get some blososm shots in hunza i guess........... early april
