Travel tips required Karachi to Quttea

We are planning a road trip from Karachi to Quetta and Ziarat. (any advice would be great)
I have a few questions:
1- how are the roads? From Khi to queeta, queeta city and from queeta to ziarat?
2- Is it wise to take my own car ?
3- Is my car powerful enough for the mountainous roads (Que to zia)? My car = Corolla gli 2015
4- Will this trip effect my car’s performance?

1. Road -RCD Highway ( KHI-Quetta ) is Excellent with less trafic. You may face few bad patches or underconstruction. Quetta to Ziarat road is also good.
2. Yes, Its good to take your car.
3. Your car is perfect for the said route.
4. Not at all. Your Trust will increase on your car.

Been to Quetta & Ziarat last year with friends. We used al-saif coach service for Khi-Quetta-Khi (excellent service). We had Corolla GLi 2008 for Ziarat and roaming around in Quetta. So your vehicle is up to the mark for this trip. Road is in perfect condition throughout.

Your main concern should be security and law n order situation in Balochistan. Since, we have heard couple of bad incidents recently in Balochsitan. So plan your trip accordingly.

Start your trip at 4.00 am, cross baldia & reach RCD highway cross Hub & reach Uthal by 5.30 am Stop over for break fast & fuel top up. Drive with ease and comfort.

stop over for lunch at khuzdar, top up again & reach quetta before sunset.
Highway is good people are friendly.

Keep drinking water bottles and dry munching snacks. with kids onboard banana & apple will be a good idea to stash in bag.

Keep adult cnic, and vehicle ownership with you if only MEN are in vehicle. Law enforcement will stop for random CNIC & vehicle check. but wave you away if kids and ladies are onboard.

Karachi - Quetta is 24/7 best. wear seatbelts, keep water bottles, keep tow cable / rope in car. At crossing of lasbela check tyre pressure and spare wheel condition.

Karachi - Gawader section is to be travelled only during day light in current situation.
