Just Completed Tour from Lahore to Naran, Babusar Top, Hunza, Khunjerab Pass, Astore, Deosai, from 29th July to 4th August 2017. Lots of thanks to Pak Wheeler "REBEL" (sorry i dont know your name brother) to arrange places as per my plan, it helps alot really, Thanks once again Brother. Here are the details: -
Ride: Honda City 2007.
Persons: Family of 04 with Kids: 2.5/yrs baby girl & 9 yrs baby boy.
Cameras for Coverage: Sony DSLR Alpha SLTA99 (For Pics),
Samsung J2 (Fixed on car screen to cover whole raod)
Total Travelling: 2513 Km.
Total Fuel Cost: 11,100/-
Total Fuel Consumed: 155 Liters.
29th July Travelled Lahore to Naran
Just Leaved Lahore at 7:00 am, via Motorway till ISB, then selected route towards
Murree-Kohala-Muzafferabad-Balakot-Naran. Reached Naran at 7:00 Pm, Hotel was booked from Lahore. so stayed night there. 12 hrs of travel time was followed by several stops for pics & Lunch, & tea break etc.
Road Conditions: Excellent road till Muree, then Kohala Road is disturbed up till hilly area, and then after main bridge of Muzaffer abad, again route is Excellent till Naran with minor disturbance at some places only, but easily bearable.
Stay: Hotel Naran = 0997-430008
Room: Excellent, with Good Service & hot water availability.
Rent: 4500/Night.
30th July Travelled Naran to Hunza
Just leaved Naran at 9:00 am, refuel the car and starts journey towards Hunza via Jalkhad-Lulusar-Babusar Top-Chillas-Raikot-Jaglot-Gilgit & reached Hunza at 8:00pm using Silk Route. Again 11 hrs traveling was followed by several stops for pics and tea breaks and stops for enjoying the beauty of area.
Road Conditions Excellent Road from Naran Till Chillas, then 40 to 50 Kms of road is mixed with some rough patches but easily manageable by car, and then from Raikot till Hunza is Silk Road.

Rent: 4500/Night.
31th July from Hunza to Khunjerab Pass
Leaved Hunza at 10:00am by visiting Baltit & Altit Forts, then moved towards China Border, via Silk Road, excellent road with amazing places, like Passu Valley, Batura Glacier, Gulmit etc and reached at border at 3:00 PM by visiting and take stops at different places. When reached there, come to know that it was blocked due to major landslide & opened just before our arrival so glad to know, then enjoyed there for 2 hours and leaved border at 5:00 PM to Hunza. Reached Hunza by 9:00 Pm enjoyed there and also experience Tried walnut cake at cafe de hunza, and was really THE BEST. Back to Hotel and stayed for night.
01st August Traveled Hunza to Astore
Leaved Hunza Hotel at 10: 00 am and take route towards Astore, really Dangerous Road :), reached Astore at 3:00 PM while exploring the beauty of surroundings all the way.
Road Conditions Excellent Road from Hunza till Link Astore Road, and then total single track, Dangerous & needs alots for careful drive all the way till Astore. In Astore you will found no road at all in start therefore if you are on Car, then you will have to take care about your vehicle at each proceeding.

Rent: 3000/Night.
2nd August Traveled to Rama Lake, Sheosar Lake, Deosai
Leave hotel at 7:00 Am, take Parado TZ on rent from hotel with 16000/- for whole day, as i heard about road, is not manageable by car, which on later i agreed, because if you are with family then dont take any risk as "You have the only vehicle on which you will move back to your Home", so visited RAMA LAKE, stop over on different places to explore the beauty, then reached SHEOSAR LAKE, explore DEOSAI PLAINS, BARA PANI and moved back at night nearly 9:30 pm, as was stucked in road due to land slide because of heavy rain for 1 hour. but the whole day was really enjoyable.
Road Condition You will found a minor piece of road till Rama Lake, but Janoonies take their Cars and Carry Box also, then proceeding towards Deosai, I witnessed Corolla 2012, 13, 15 & 17 Models and Civic Reborn 2008 & 2011 Model Moving there. Uptill Deosai, you will reached with 5 Major blockages where your car will must touch ground. But as per my analysis in this year every one should brought his car easily as Pak Army is much more active on this route due to Chillium Chowki.
3rd August from Astore to Fairy Meadows
Leaved Astore at 08:30 am for Fairy Meadows and reached raikot bridge at 10:30 am but due to major landslide at night jeep track was closed for some hours i think, also we have kid of age 2.5 yrs so decided to leave Fairy Meadows and proceed towards Naran, but upon reaching at Check post at KKH Junction, we come to know that Babusar Top was also closed on 02-August 2:00 PM for 2 or 3 days, due to major landslide at several places, so decided to move through KKH and wind up our tour.
Reached Abbottabad at 9:30 Pm, booked hotel while traveling on phone. so stayed there for night and then on next day moved from Abbottabad to Lahore via Motorway and reached Al-Hamdullillah Safely at home at 5: 00 PM, with following details: -
Road Conditions Mixed Road from Chillas till Besham with manageable patches, and from Besham till Abbotabad you will found outclass road with splendid sceneries in sorroundings.

Rent: 4500/Night.

SUGGESTIONS::
Take Fuel for you car when you see your fuel indication near to half or at half of tank, as this is safe for your whole tour.
Always travel by booking hotels from your base as it is difficult to found hotel at Naran if you will reached after 5:00 PM. This Time i personally found NARAN just like MUREE. so Crowdy,
Don't take risk by speed your car on roads like Astore, as this needs alots of care. Single track till Astore.
