Travelling from Pakistan to Iran on Car

I am thinking of travelling from Pakistan to Iran with my family on my personal car. Is it easy? what documents will i need? please share some information

You will need a carnet for your car. I think there are two organizations in Pakistan which issue carnet. You have to deposit about 80% of the value of your vehicle with them and reclaim on return. I am not sure what other permissions you may need. Probably the Iran embassy or ministry of foreign affairs has some guidelines.

yaar waisay I don't mean to sound like a know it all but Pakistan jaysay mulk mein reh kar still getting worried about security problems ki koi tuk nahi banti ....

Driving through Balochistan is tough and very risky. But once all the paper work and visas and ijazats are taken care of Iran will be just like Europe to travel to. Its extremely safe, infrastructure is like 10/10, all muslims so no issue of halal foods, very cooperative.
