Travelling to Murree on a 660cc via Express Way (Motorway)

Assalam o Alaikum,
I have Suzuki Alto 2006 Model in which i've installed 660cc engine last year. I want to travel from Lahore to Murree via Motorway with 4 adults in total. I, myself is going to drive the car but i've never visited northern areas.Some of my colleagues and family members are saying that you cannot drive to Murree as the road is very steep and you’ve 660cc car. While some are saying that the new motorway is very safe and it’s not very steep as well. You can safely go to Murree but not further.
Kindly advise me, can I go to Murree on a 660cc car with 4 adults via motorway without having the experience of driving in northern areas?

murree tk nahi jaskti no chance. motorway pr chl le gi but not on height. engine faragh krana ha to lejao wapsi pr new engine dlwa lena.

If the engine is fine then there will no issue else than occasional use of lower gear in automatic like 2 or L. You will see quite a few 660cc cars in Murree. I know a Wagon R Stingray which goes regularly to Murree and is still fine. If your car is working fine then there will be no issues, it will just feel sluggish.

660cc cars go to Highland Resort which comes after Pir Sohawa, Islamabad. And that road is far steeper and trickier than the drive to Murree.

bhai ek point pr motorway khtm hoti ha aur chrhai shoro hoti ha murree ki. wahan pr gari ma jan hona zrori ha nhi chrhe ge. family ko mt lejana asay. even expressway pr height zada ha air density km hoti ha engine power loose krjata ha .

if u read his post he has himself installed the 660 cc engine. this is not a japanese import (they have higher bhp, in same 660 cc engine) new alto , honda nwgn etc chli jati hain slow hokr but ye alto nhi jaegi heavy body ha.

You're right. Car ka body weight 660cc kay mutabik nahi hai. jabkay japanese 660cc cars ka weight unkay engine kay mutabik hota hai.

bhai search on internet. i have seen a lot of videos of murree mallroad with 660 cc cars roaming there easily.
even 70cc bike can go there, so why cannot a 660cc car

I have traveled from Islamabad to murree several times in my 660 wagonR and faced no issues. Climbed every possible steep slope. through it bogs down due to small engine but still managed fine.

Even 500cc will easily go.

Bro, 660cc engine not 70cc.
I have seen people riding on 70cc bike with passenger and that bike still keep on going, then why would 660cc not go. At some point you might feel the car bit sluggish, under powered but you dont have to worry.
If you are a "Pappi" driver you know how to keep the car in motion, Jhn apny break mar di steep hill py that would obviously make your car to struggle to go forward. Bus Allah ka name ley kar Trip karien

Well, fifth-generation Alto (HA12/22) had curb weight of 630-800 KG and its facelift HA23 came with same K6A engine he installed in his Alto. And curb weight of latest Alto is in range of 610-740 KG depending on configuration.

So, the car is not that heavier in comparison. If it had been a manual then it would have zero issues till Murree but automatic does get sluggish, but still it reaches Murree without much extra effort.

And bhp gap is not that much, K6A has 54 bhp and F10A in Alto maximum bhp of 60; (doubt it, 40-60 bhp range is given on internet). Torque matters on hilly driving more though.

All those who are saying k nhy jy gi gaari height pe, had you ever been an owner or driven the car....!
These 660cc cars are going to Highland and Monal, which has a very steep road compared to any of the roads of murree, ayubia or nathiagali..... There is no problem in taking it to murree or ayubia etc..... There is just one road where u should not go from the bottom side and that is sozo water park.... If u want to go there just go from the top and descent downwards.... Rest i had seen 1300cc cars struggling on that road....

The motorway ends at lower topa and further there is no steep uphill climb anywhere, just turn towards jheeka gali and u will not encounter any steep uphills
