@mrs.haris,, i v been to ansoo lake last year with my hubby,,, mobeen mazhar is a trekker, nature photographer and a very informative tourist, he can guide almost everythng regarding tour, security issues, trek conditions, best season to visit etc,,,he can guide you better

@Moona.irfan3 bb khud jao pehlay 2 banday(1 male and 1 female) DUDIPATSAR pay. phir kisi aur ko mashwara dena. raat paray gi to LAG pata jay ga. Sari raat duain mango gi app kay subha ho aur ghar jao. bb, kisi asi jagah ka mashwara do jo accessible ho asani say, in case koi issue ho to yeh log koi support lay sakain.

Yeh nai kay APP NAY FARMA DIYA to yeh log sunsan jheeel ko chalay jain. just because you have no information does not mean everywhere is accessible and safe.

BTW jin "Mobeen Mazhar" sahab ki app bat farma rahi hain. agar koi guide sath ho to koi issue hi nai. POINT IS "DONT GO ONLY 2 in which 1 is female" :@

As @huazifa has already mentioned one of the groups including females going to Dudipat Sar Lake. Some members of this group contacted me and got information and they had a blast on this trek.

Lots of groups including females have visited Dudipat this year and FB is full with their trip shots.

There is a hotel on Saif-ul-Muluk Lake so u can use that if confused about camping there. I have camped twice at the lake without any issues Alhamdulilah. You are with or without family doesn't matter when u r camping as nobody can spot that during pitch dark night. Some incidents of theft have happened which do happen every year but are very few compared to the thousands of tourists visiting every season.

Another option is to camp in the courtyard of the hotel.

Please try to respect the opinions of others. Nobody is doing a paid service here. We are a group of friends trying to help the travelling community voluntarily. If u have different opinion that doesn't mean other is wrong so have patience and stamina to listen to others as well

Yes you can camp on Saiful Malook. Now locals have constructed a hotel on lake and you can stay there too. Let me know if you want their number for booking.
I have been to Dudipatsar back in 2009. Dudipatsar trek is a moderate level 7-8 hours trek. You can hire horses or mules if you consider it a tough trek. Families can go there and you will find guide and porter from Besal. You cannot go without any help of porter or guide. We are planning to visit lake in Eid holidays.

I dont know how many of you people use GPS or not (BTW most smartphones can also be used as GPS units) you can upload and download treks on wikiloc and voila your guide problems are solved as far as route is concerned (but if you want to take one along just for company then its upto you). regarding security concerns they are a part of life in Pakistan now I guess. Even large groups are no match to a few Kohistanis armed with fully automatic rifles, I would 2nd advice given by aesiege and asifcae, if you are leaving for Dudipat don't expose yourselves at Besal as I have a feeling that is the place where you are being tagged as a would be victim.

there are some organised tour operators on FB normally female trekkers do show up in their tours, I do not have any affiliation with them but you can check their events and make your decision.
