Last week we three friends did a Trek to Wali Tangi Dam near Quetta.

It was amazing, challenging and full of scenic views.

Thori koshish kre Cantt se permission mil jati he. Army personnel are very co operative. Get the contact number of concerned officer from the gaurds and call them.

Wow, subhanAllah. means snow can be seen in quetta now. I have heard about Wali Tangi Dam and now you have taken us there, such a beautiful spot, Amazing scenes. @asifcae must have noted down this place in "to do" list for future, as he is a true Traveler. Mashallah.

i wonder if Gora log could reach this place they would love to hike especially climbing on steep rocks. these places are full of wilderness and uniqueness

Hello @azyy bhai, this thread is really helping for me, as I have a plan to come to Quetta in few months and hike to this dam with my other 2 friends.
I have noticed your hiking shoes, is it must have on this tough terrain or normal running shoes will be ok?
Secondly I cannot see your car completely, is it ok to go on honda city? pls guide on this

Better having Hiking shoes due to stones and rough terrain. Wese normal bhi chal jaen ge.

Any car can go till Dam, but for hiking you need to park it near entrance of army post and start trek along the water stream towards steep cliffs.

We went on Prius till the post.

There are other beautiful and challenging treks near Quetta, i shall explore as we get time IA

ok thanks, we are coming there in first week of April. We have plan to go to Chaman border, ziarat residency, Hanna lake and Wali Tangi dam. Do you suggest some more things to do in this area as we will have 4 days of stay?
