@ parapilot, amazing snaps & looks like a great Trip. It was willy special till now :), I am impressed with its effort & performance, U guys planned to leave it in Passu but I can see her moving up towards the shimsal village. Anyways, 2x2 Trip to abhi shuru hoona hey, pls keep them coming, we are lovin it!

i guess you are not resizing the pictures and uploading it directly so its talking alot of time i sugges you resize it to 640x480

qwertypoiu, I have resized them but some of them were originally above 8mb and resizing them got down to under 800kbs.

It was dark by the timewe reached the stream near the village. The weather was hot fron last week and the stream was in the full swing. The rened jeep driver and his friends went in the stream to check the flow but it was too powerful for the jeep to cross. We had to lay our mattress in the open air to get the weater cooled down. Woke up at 04:00 am to the stream. The bridge over the stream was gone.

As per the locals the bst time to cross the stream is between 07:00 and 10:00 am.

Finally reached Shimshal. Shimshals are a small community of around 1600 people. There are four small villages named Naseerabad, Ameenabad, Central Shimshal and Jafferabad. All the people are followers of Agha Khan.

Stayed at Sifat Guest house. Beautiful place with local setup. The owner is the only paramedic of the village and also is the MUKHI of Central Shimshal.
