TRIP ADVICE: JEEP RENTAL PRICES FROM Islamabad

Here are few things I need to know, we are planning to leave for Astore, Dosai, Skardu and Gilgit starting from 1[SUP]st[/SUP]-August to 12[SUP]th[/SUP] August from Islamabad. A group of 9 friends are arriving from Saudia and I need to hire two parados, pejaros or surf jeeps for them. Now they say that they have inquired the rates whereas companies are offering them Rs10,000 per day for single jeep which will include the drive but they will have to pay for fuel charges.

Kindly recommend from where I can hire the jeeps from Rawalpindi/Islamabad and that what should be the right rates.

We don?t care even if they are old models like 1995, 1992 etc. second option in hand is that if we can hire a new model highest van provided if it can go till dosai and pass through babusar top. Do you think highest will be able to make it these areas and that what will be the rates.

Brother, thanking you so much for your advice via phone call. i agree with your suggestion that we should hire non-custom paid parados from Gilgit-Baltistan. my group agrees with your suggestion and hopefully i will contact you again to get the reference of rental car service in the area.

When you are leaving, as i am travelling alone and planning to book a jeep from fairy meadows(raikot) to travel to Astore, rama, deosai, skardu (shagrila resort) and other areas of skardu.
If you are traveling in the same dates you can join me from FM/raikot and we can share the jeep and reduce our expenses.
