If you love to stay at a serene place I would suggest to stay at Batakundi that is around half an hour ahead of Naran. The place is beautiful and family oriented. We had a lot of families staying at our hotel.
We stayed at Hotel de Rose Wood and paid 3000 per room that too on Eid days. Clean rooms and good food. No need to go to naraan for food. They arranged live bbq at nominal rates plus the food had excellent taste. Stayed for 3 nights didnt visit naran bazaar once.
The only downside is you have no network there. But who cares you are on a vacation anyway.
Naran has Pathetic rooms with high rates and everybody tries to rip you off. The only thing you get there free is the smell of urine.
And not to forget It has become more like a "londa party" recreational area. Roaming around with family is not advised in that crowd.
