Trip Plan from Karachi to Naran Via Murree stay in between. Need Suggestions

Planning a famaily trip Inshallah next week and need your helpful suggestions in planning it. I need help regarding hotels stay and route as well.

Not planning beyond Naran as i have a week and need to be back in Karachi.

Details.

Passengers: ME(Driver), Better Half, Kids Aged 3-8-9.
Ride: Honda Airwave 1.5 (Will do all checks like oil change(DUE) and put new tyres)
Route:
Leave Karachi at Fajr or at 4 am:
Will drive straight to Shorkot, Jhang. Stay there a few days (Family Reunion- Better Half Side).(1000 km can do it have done twice before)

Real thing starts from Sat Morning.
LEaving Shorkot via Motorway All the way to Murree. ( NEED HOTEL SUGGESTIONS ) Budget 4-7k/night. (Season Mode so i expect rates to be high)
2 Days in Murree.

LEaving Murree for Naran ( Now there are multiple routes i can see through google maps which one should i take Need HELP is this regards )

Need Hotel Suggestions for NARAN(1-2 Night Stay ) Budget 5-8k/Night. Suggest Places to Visit Also

From Naran Ill be coming to Islamabad Direct and Need a Hotel Suggestion In Islamabad. Want to offer Friday Prayers in Faisal Mosque.
1-2 Nights Stay in Islamabad.
Suggest Places to Visit Also.

Then Journey Backward I can handle.

do not stop at muree they are criminals thugs & frauds.,
Vacation season is their killing season sparing no one.

Goto Rawalakot - Muzzaffarbad / Neelum Valley area & stay at any motel. You will not regert skipping Muree
From there you can proceed to Naran enjoying the scenic beauty onway. The Monsoon has started drive with caution., and enjoy your journey.

why you want to spoil your trip by going to murree...as suggested by capsat, skip it and go to kashmir or galiyat...

try booking govt. rest houses...their location is awsome and they are economical too...

you can stay at galiyat or thandiani instead of murree...plenty of govt rest houses and camping pods are also available....

second option is have a night stay at sharan forest....instead of murree

third option have a stay at shogran instead of murree

fourth option is to go neelum valley stay for 2 nights and come back to muzaffarabad and then go to naran from there...

similarly don't stay in naran, stay at batakundi

Before it was a good tourist point, but now because of too much rush and behavior of the service providers and price hike, it is not recommended.

Murree hills is the highest point of Panjab. The main attraction of Murree is Patriata (new Murree) , where you find the Chair Lifts & Cable Car (no doubt it is beautiful you can see natural beauty from the chair lift/cable car), but to get the ticket you will have to wait for more than 1 hour in a queue and after that to get the Chair ride again will have to wait for further around 1 hour in this peak season.

Better to find these facilities somewhere else as Nathia Gali & Ayubia are near the Murree,
Chair lifts are also there in both places, you can enjoy there for a day or two and then you can go ahead for further places as per the advise given above.

I have been to Murree Twice before never beyond that so i am looking for advice which i will follow to the T. I will look into Galiyat/Thandiani if not i have almost made my mind to skip Murree and stay in Muzaffarabad or Neelum Valley. Need to do a bit more research into it.. I am on it and really appreciate the replies.

Also I wanted to Add that my Ride is wrapped in Black(Original Color is Orange ). Will that be an issue ? DO i need to remove the wrap or shall i go ahead with it.

chill there will be hundreds of black vehicles around all the way.

personally I avoid driving a black vehicle after sunset., exercise caution prevention is better then cure

Also i am looking into options like thandiani and muzaffarabad and neelum valley. doing my research.
I was also thinking on changing the leaving time from karachi. Planning to leave after Magrib on Wednesday. Kids will be sleeping most of the way and will be able to drive at 80kph slow and steady and reach destination till noon.

the stop overs/destination you have mentioned it wont be a week trip.. for example you need to spend few days in Jhang.. then two days in Muree.. then 2 days to Naran then 2 days to Islamabad too.. plus travelling time between these places will be in addition.. i would suggest make a day wise itinerary and then schedule your days to come up with good plan and then travel according to plan..

Latest update is.. I have figured it out till Islamabad. I will be leaving Wed 3 july for Shorkot. and then leave from there for Islamabad on Monday morning. Will stay there at Islamabad and have dinner at Monal Restaurant. ( heard its beautiful and food is good too) then leave for further destination the next morning.

Now the further destination needs to be finalised. I am looking at Neelum valley or Galaiyat/Thandiani. so working on it.. will keep this thread alive..

Found a Good hotel with the name of Rose Palace hotel Islamabad. its located at F-10 Markaz F ISloo. Anyone stayed there ?

They offer me a double room for 3500( Usually 5000) with an extra mattress if needed for kids.

plan is Almost finalised. From Islamabad will go to Neelum valley as i checked there are plenty or good places and hotels to stay also. then as a valuable input from fellow pakwheeler will go to naran/batakundi and stay there. then come back to ISL.

Will my jazz sim work in all places mentioned above or do i need to get the scom sim to stay connected ?

For photography I have my Note 9 and sidekick Xperia Z5. bought the smooth 4 gimbal for videos.

Should i get a gopro also ? just guessing ?

I have Original Licence/Nic/Car Book(on my name)/Tax paid till DEc-19
