Trip Suggestion to north October 8-13

Hi Gurus,
I hope you all are doing fine. I am planning a trip to North in October for 5 days. Few of my friends and family are joining me from USA in this trip. I need guidance in terms of the following questions.

Best area to visit from Lahore in October for 5days in North?
Itinerary for 5days of the area you suggest?
Recommended transport for 6 to 7 people? I want all of the persons in one vehicle?
Security situation of the area you suggest because two of them are foreigner US citizens.
Family hotels in the area you suggest?
What you suggest should i hire a tour operator or do it on our own?

You can go till hunza and khunjerab if there is no snow. you may hire a hiace

Till Khunjerab you can go. Have stay at Lalazaar and Naltar.

Recommended transport for 6 to 7 people? I want all of the persons in one vehicle?
Simply hire and Luxury high roof hiace.. It will cost you around 8500 per day other than fuel.OR go in 2 cars by your self.

Security situation of the area you suggest?
No security issues at all. But all coming persons from USA shall be Pakistanis (having valid CNIC or NICOP). If any foreigner is there you will not be able to cross even initial areas.

Family hotels in the area you suggest?

What you suggest should i hire a tour operator or do it on our own?
Do the trip at your own. If required, I will give you cell no of Hiace driver. He will guide you as well as per schedule in thread. No need of tour operator.

1 . Although u could visit Hunza and Khunjerab in 5 days but most of time will be spent in journey so it would be better if u visit Naran Shogran or increase 1 more day and make it 6 days..

1. Itinerary can be:
   Day 1 : Lahore to Naran, stay in Naran (around 10 to 11 hrs)
   Day 2: Naran to Hunza, short stay at Babusar top, Lulusar Lake, Rakaposhi & Nanga Parbat view point in between.. Night stay in Hunza..
   Day 3 : Visit Khunjerab Pass.. U will pass by Attabad Lake & passu cone when u will be going to Khunjerab.. Stay in Hunza or Sost..
   Day 4 : Visit Altit / Baltit Forts, Duiker Valley, Eagle Nest.. Stay in Hunza
   Day 5 : Travel back to Naran..
   Day 6 : Naran to Lahore..

2. U can hire Hiace from Lahore.. Or APV (if u are 6)..

3. No problem at all with security..

4. PTDC hotels are suggested if no problem with budget.. U will find PTDC in Naran as well as Hunza.. Eagle Nest is also good option in Hunza..

5. Do it at your own, u will enjoy alot..

I am so sorry i could not mention earlier two of them are foreigner US citizens. So thats why i am concerned about security.

U S citizens need to show their passports and visa in so many check posts on way nothing else and hopefully there will be no any security issue.

Fairy meadows or Devsai is strongly recommended in your 5 days tour. In fairymeadows you can stay in tent or wooden cottage the place is very worthwhile and there are all basic facilities available over there.

For devsai you can stay in PTDC Ramma lake which is very close toto A store city.
