I live in Karachi. I arrived to Lahore on 27 December 2012. After few days stay in Lahore on 1st January 2013 I departured for Banjosa and Murree with my cousin. We covered Lahore-Rawalpindi distance by train which departure in morning and reached Rawalpindi at 12:30 pm. From Faizabad, Rawalpindi we picked van for Rawalakot. The Van fare of Rawalpindi-Rawalakot is Rs 250 per person. We reached to Rawalakot in 3 hour in evening. I stayed night in Green Valley Hotel in Rawalakot. They charged Rs 600 for 1 day but i don't like this hotel because the paint of room was dirty and hot water was not coming in bathroom. But i stayed there because i just wanted to spend night there.
We reached to Banjosa lake at 12:00 noon on 2nd January, Our room were already booked in Chinar Guest house. Chinar Guest is own by Pakistan Army. They charged Rs 1500 for per day. Room and Bathroom was clean and Hot water was coming in Bathroom.
We leaved our bags in our room and visited lake. We spent all day around lake. The lake is very beautiful and charming but construction work on Kamran Hotel and Restaurant makes a corner of lake very ugly. The way from main road to Kamran Hotel is also muddy and dusty.
Next day We came back to Rawalpindi and spent night at Shehzad International Hotel, Murree Road, Faizabad, Rawalpindi. They charged Rs 900 per day. The hotel was clean and hot water was coming in Bathroom. This hotel is also suitable for families and many families were stayed there.
On 4th January We visited Murree and stayed at Lalazar Hotel near GPO Chowk, Mall Road @ Rs 2500. The hotel was clean and well and have central heating system + Generator. After one day stay in Murree i came back to Lahore by van and train and after few days to Karachi.
