Banjosa is 20 km from Rawlakot .Road is reasonably good with some steap after Khai gala.
If you want to have night stay at Banjosa then buy food items from khai gala as there are no Hotles offering food at Banjosa. Rest houses have kitchens where they can cook food for you which you have brought with you . So buy things from khai gala which has almost every thing from fresh chicken , vegetables ,cold drinks , cigerattes , bakery items etc. As we had fresh mate with us ,so no worries for us
Upoun reaching Banjosa ,I was searching for the lake but could not find the one. My eyes were looking for famous rest house building right above the bank of Banjosa which we often used to see in the pictures but no signs ...nothing
Upon enquiring from Younis ,the mulazim at resort , he told that those building seen in pictures are actualy PWD rest houses built rightly above the bank of the lake. As we had booking in this AJK resort but this place was not so picturesque means no sign of lake so asked Younis to keep our booking intact and we will try to get room in PWD rest house which also need prior booking .
So took some pictures and moved down to the lake .
From the resort you go down and at Forest check post you take left to reach at lake . If you take right from Forest check post the road leads to Trarkhal.
