I'm planning a trip to Hunza next week and I have three options. Need some experts to guide this mountain-drive newbee about which of the following options would be a better idea:
- Take my own car to Hunza and Khunjerab (knowing that Babusar is now closed). I have a Santro in good condition but have never driven beyond Islamabad.
- Rent a car with a driver. Which is turning out to be quite expensive but convenient. Also, I guess traveling with a stranger won't be that much fun.
- Catch a plane ride to Gilgit and then go to Hunza. This option will probably have the least amount of sight-seeing.
What do you guys say? Keeping the current weather in mind.
