in Naran there is Erum Hotel, co-operative staff and reasonable rent for rooms, condition as well.
if u want just family enjoyment and privacy as well so go upside towards Lake, there are many hotels, personally i love to stay over there...
i would not suggest u to go shogran by your own car coz roads are under construction, park ur car in Kawai valley and go there by rented jeep thay will ask for 2000 and will agree for 1200 to 1500...

I also own Mira and planning a trip to Naran this year. Can you please guide me how did it corssed the broken parts of road and water crossing spots? as i am afraid it will be hard for Mira to cross broken patches of roads without touching ground. Any advice?

Bro dont go to shogran on this 660c. have seen worse situations there just because people thought there ride can go. Please dont put your loved ones life in danger. Please dont, just because 1 is saying dont go there on this smally.

Last yr i went shogran on mira 2007
A/T and i felt no prob! If any1 can go there by mehran and cuore so y not mira? Mira is much better car as all users of mira knws... Anyways Allah apko apni hifazat mai rakhay... Aameen

I dont think engine power will be the main issue , main issue should be ground clearance

japanese kei cars have very low ground clearance , in northen areas u have to face few tough conditions thaty i wrote that only main issue can be that car doesnt hits the road . . .

@omer, i went to Shogran on my Mira without any issue, ground clearance is an issue but manageable if u take care of it, rest Mira is good to go, I went to AJK till Kutton on Mira, this year i m going to Swat on Mira. Thanks God i have not faced any issue so far.

I am planning to visit Naran, Shogran with my family (four adults) on Mira 660cc. I just wanna know, do you guyz think that Mira will get stuck somewhere on the way. I have takken this car upto Kutton last year without any issue.

Dear Don't under estimate your Mira 660CC. You have very best car and it is after all Japanese powerful machine, it is not pathetic local Mehran / Cultus / Sentro even Civic etc. I have Mitsubishi EKWegon 660CC and I visited Murrey last month ... It was hell much of enjoyment driving my automatic EK 660CC .... Although there is not any comparison b/w Murrey and Naran's Road but still you shouldn't have any problems till NARAN Insha ALLAH. After Kiwai and Kaghan there will be some road diversions due to land sliding where you should remain careful but these are not dangerous at all. If any car can cross these diversions, I assure you, your mira will be two steps ahead of these Insha ALLAH but please be careful.

Please take deep look into your machine before putting your foot into pedal towards Naran after BALAKOT. Car's battery should be OK, Air Pressure in tyres should be OK, all the plugs should be OK and most importantly your breaks should be OK. I know you know all these precautions but still we are human beings and in excitement we use to forget minor things. Just put your car into D2 gear and handle the steering and break and your car will take you to NARAN without any problem. Insha Allah ... I am also planning to go NARAN on my EKWegon in mid of june so I could enjoy Saiful Malook Lake, Jalkhad, Basel, Lulusar Lake and Babusar Taap.

I hope this will help you and will boost your confidence. Please share your experiences once you come back from safe trip.

Bro I have visited shogran in Nov 2012, I think peoples r right its not impossible but its very difficult for 660cc I have 1300cc Lancer 1992 and I have faced KAFI problem even at one point i reversed my car and then again on way back after consulting local man again I reverse again and go up and made it to top with help of Allah.

ALSO a 2009 Corrolla driver lost his temper/will and return from mid.

ALSO ITS VERY STEEP , A BRO is saying its not steep he is not right in my opinion.

So I also advice u to take jeep from Kewai.

BUT IF U R CHALLENGE LOVER THE DECISION IS Yrs
