Alhumdulillah that your trip went safe. in those areas you have to use clutch a lot and sometimes wire can snap that is what i meant. about puncture, brother in lahore when we go to get tire puncture fixed the mechanic only pulls out the tube. but in those areas mechanics take out the whole rim and do it. i had very bad experience about that. my front tyre got punctured and i went to puncture shop. the guy took the whole front rim off and went to fix it. when he started to put the rim back, the tire wasnt moving. it was kind of stuck. the mechanic told me it is fine just ride it and the tire will become easy eventually. i was very angry and i started shouting at him. then he called one guy who seemed to know something about bikes. he opened the rim again and found that the mechanic had not fitted the speedometer garari properly. this garrai was now bent and stuck in the wheel. so he removed it. bike ran good after that but speedometer didnt work. there were no spares for it. at the end of the tour i got the garari from pindi on my way back. i always think what if back tyre get punctured? if mechanic wants to take back rim out then so many things need to come off. and they do not know anything about bikes so how will they put it all back? puncture kit is good option but even for that you must know how to take tube out of tyre and put it back. also for clutch wire, you should know how to install one. i really enjoyed my trip to nathia gali but i knew in case of any problem, i will have to load it onto a jeep and bring it down to pindi.

well bro u are rite u have to use clutch again n again on mountainous area's my bike's clutch wire was also damaged but we managed to change it by our self it is not difficult , but remember while riding bike on mountainous roads dnt use clutch in xcess it can also damage clutch plates in engine , and about puncture u must have seen mechanics of cycles using a sticker puncture .. that puncture is good for temporary purpose next time i am going to take that puncture kit with me INSHALLAH .. the mechanic u are talking about was really weird

@cyberaks - bhai how was ur experience climbing to shogran? did the bike go good with 2 people + luggage? and did u see any bike repairing shop on ur journey?

@abottabad and muzafarabad members - brothers are there any bike repair centers in or around ur cities? is there any bike repairman at muree?

brother it was great experience that why i am again planning to go in july i feel more safe while riding bike on mountains and it feels like u are flying as u know road's altitude increases gradually while going shogran , at sum places road was broken and it became difficult for bike to take 2 guys from bad patches so one have to come down from bike at few places ,, other wise our journey was great ,, luggage was just a bag with us nothing more

in sep 2010 petrol price was around 64 rupee and total cost from lahore to naran n naran to lahore was almost 1800 rupees per bike

@poster when are u planning ur next trip ?? do lemme know hopefully i might be interested in joining u .....
in december 2010 i also had a trip from lhr to abottabad on bikes had plans to go further but there are 2 cd 70's wid us thaz y hadn't took tha risk .... refrence pics are attached

thank u bro all i want a professional cam but those cams are really expensive so i am using simple cyber shot cam yeah we are going on bikes this summer do pray for us for clear weather
