aoa, well season is hot but the weather these days is fair so i'd say yes u can go. it'll take u around 3 hours to kund malir from nazimabad - lyari expressway interchange. some recommendations that i'd give are:
1. if you are going with family in a single car, i'd suggest that you reconsider ur plan and i'll tell you exactly y. Kund malir is a remote area and after crossing winder you wont be able to find any mechanic, fuel station etc. After about 10km on the coastal highway you'll lose mobile connectivity and practically you'll be on your own from that moment onwards, in no man's land! there is practically zero population around, area is total desert, with no help whatsoever in case you end up aspiring for one. so i highly suggest that u take atleast two cars, two families so that there can be a backup vehicle in case you run into trouble.

1. The place is safe, there may be no population and facilities around but the place is quite safe.

2. Leave early morning so that u can return back on time in case u dont wanna spend the night at the beach.

3. Better take ur food from home cux there r no hotels retuarants available there. only a small dhaba available.

4. fuel up ur tank from within khi cux the fuel available after hub is poor quality. Better keep a jerry can along as well

Hello,
I went there twice, first time with friends in August and second time with family in March.
No issue in going alone when you are with friends as far as your vehicle is in good condition, just make sure it is perfect in all aspects before leaving. Do carry some extra petrol in a can. At least 10 litres if going till Kund Malir and 20 litres if u r going till Ormara. Taking food from Karachi is a good idea, as the food available at Dhaba is expensive and not good, we took with us TIN PACK food.

It was extremely hot in August. If it is sunny the heat is unbearable in day time. However, it becomes easier as the day passes after 3 p.m. Consider staying a night at Kund Malir beach as u r going with friends, it is worth staying, the sunrise on the beach is treat to watch and the weather in summer is very pleasant during the night.
