I couldn't sleep in that situation and at about 5am when sunlight was about to break up, I woke up my friends and asked them to leave towards Pindi slowly. We gathered few bottles of water from the rest area and left the rest area.
After taking a half an hour break at every 4-5km for cooling up the car and topping up water in the radiator, we reached ISB exit at about 9.30am. I called a PW friend (Asadghumman), who was also engaged with me throughout this situation, asked him about a good mechanic. He referred a mechanic near golra mor, which is quite near from the isb motorway exit. Atlast we reached there at 10am.
After checking up the car, mechanic looked at my face astonishingly and said “sir g salute hay aap ko jo ap is haalat mey gari itni ehtiat say yahan tak lay ayay hay”. I told him the whole story and asked him to start his work as we intended to leave for our remaining trip by evening.
He started the work diligently and after thorough checking he said that the head gaskit should be changed and the whole process will take time. On no choice basis I asked him to continue his work. A friend (aneeq) from pindi arrived to meet us and we left with him to his place for taking some rest. After dropping us at his home, he returned back to the mechanic and supervised his work throughout. Many thanks to him.
The car was not ready till evening and he promised to deliver the car by noon next day. So we rested at Aneeq’s place for the night.
Special Thanks to Motorway Police throughout the incidence. They remained very cooperative, however we had to tell the whole story about 30 times to various Patrolling officers.
