Trip to Naltar Valley (Northern Areas of Pakistan)

I got a chance to visit Northern Areas of Pakistan (Now Gilgit-Baltistan) in June 2009 when I went on a trip to Gilgit/Hunza. I was with a friend who is from Nasirabad, Hunza and studied in Karachi University with me.

In this particular thread, I am posting pictures from trip to Naltar valley which was a single day trip. We started our journey from Nasirabad (Hunza) at around 9 AM and headed towards Nomal from where a road leads to Naltar valley. We hired a NCP car (taxi), and the driver didn't even care on the section which was filled with boulders. Here is a pictorial journey of that trip..

Got a bit sick while returning, so relaxing on a fast flowing stream was very refreshing

Although, it was not a very detailed trip to Naltar but I did enjoy it a lot. At that time, I didn't had camping equipment, neither the experience but if I get a chance to visit again, I would love to camp in this valley and would love to further explore it till 'Bashkiri Lake'.

Jee janab, you're right. Although I was a silent reader of PW (only the section of Road Trips & Vacations) but never really registered because of laziness. However, finally decided to sign up for gathering information related to upcoming Cholistan Jeep Rally. Gradually I will share my different trips. I'm not posting all of them at the same time as it will clutter the section and would look like spamming.

Assalam o alekum friends,
are there any hotels in Naltar where we can stay night? Do they have to be booked in advance in season (mid-july) or available at request?
