last saturday i made a trip to Pallandri in Azad Kashmir. Pallandri is located in Sudhnati District. the exact distance from Islamabad is 100 kms. from Azad Pattan it is 29 Kms. the route wasIslamabad-Kahuta-Azad Pattan-Pallandri.it takes about 2.5 hrs to reach from islamabad.....the encouraging thing was an excellent road condition all the way and i went on my 2006 vitz so no real ground clearance issues as well....now my original plan was to visit Pharwala Fort near Kahuta but it was an unsafe area with many incidents of theft and robbery etc so i diverted to Pallandri.Pallandri is not that impressive and is just a town on a hill top. my recommendation is not tp visit it specially from islamabad but ifone is in rawalakot banjosa, toli pir etc he can visit this place as well.......

u r right VCheng i must never be ungrateful but actually i was expecting more from the region rather than it being a simple village on a hill top. i had heard a lot about it.a few weeks earlier i went to Narh whoes pics are also in my stream.it is a much more Idyllic place and has plenty to offer. also it is much nearer to Islamabad.so mayb thats y i didnt take many photos......

Phirwala fort is 6 to 7 Km from Aliot. If you like to go there then you visit there on holiday and take some local persons with you who will serve as guards from such sort of incident
