Dear Members I recently visited Azad Jammu and Kashmir with my Family on my Chevrolet Exclusive 2005 Model.
My Plan was to visit the Kel, Arang Kel and Taobat, but due to some problems I didn't complete my trip and came back from Sharda...
Day 00-01 Friday - Saturday
I had started my journey from Lahore on Friday 8pm via GT Road toward Islamabad. First we have done our dinner at PANGA (It's a punjabi word "Panga") restaurant at Kala Shah Kakoo... It was quite good restaurant and food was good.
After dinner we reached Islamabad at approx 1:45AM and visit to our relative for 2 hours stay, where another family was waiting for us to joint us on this trip. They have Toyota Corolla 2009 Model.
We had continued our journey at 4:30AM from Islamabad and reached Muzaffarabad at 8:45AM via Murree Express Way, where we stayed at Neelum View Hotel for breakfast. After breakfast around 10:30AM we continued or journey to Athmuqam. We reached Authmuqam at around 2:15PM. We had booked a Pajero Jeep from Authmuqam to Sharda, but we parked our cars at Doarian which is 1 hour drive from Authmuqam, from Doarian to Sharda we traveled on Pajero, and after 2-3 hours we finally reached Sharda at 6PM... Checked in into rooms and reeeeeesssssssssstttttt.....
Day 02 Sharda - Sunday
For day two our plan was to visit the Taobat, and we all ready for go at 7AM, but unfortunately out Pajero driver told us that he had break fail of his car and he need to repair it.... We all SAD.... then we wait... till 10:00AM there were no good news from driver... then we decided to skip the Taobat (because we need 4 hours to reach there). We decided to visit Kel, because from Sharda to Kel it was only 1 and half hour drive.... but again same issue.. pajero taken more time... then we asked our driver to hire another jeep for us and drop back us to Doarian where we parked our cars... because It was too much late... Our plan to visit Taobat in the morning and we wanted to stay our 2nd night at Arang Kel.. but our plan was failed... and we decided to go back... Then driver hired a jeep for us and drop us at Dorian where we picked our cars and started our journey toward Muzaffarabad.
We crossed Authmuqam at 4 PM and when we reached at muzaffarabad at 6PM we heard that cross firing started between India and Pakistan at Athmuqam... AlHamdo Lillah we were safe.... Any how we had night stay in Muzafffarabad.
Day 03 - Monday
We started our journey at 10:30AM from Muzaffarabad and stay at Kohala for breakfast and finally reached Islamabad at 4PM after some short stays.
Day 04 - Tuesday
Came back Lahore from Islamabad via visit to my hometown Sialkot.

Day01 - Breakfast Muzafarabad = 1900

----------- Pajero Rent (Athmuqam to Sharda) = 6000/ per day
Day02 - Breakfast + Extra Tea = 1500
----------- Jeep Rent (Sharda to Doarian) = 2500
----------- Tea at Nusari Water Fall = 500
----------- Dinner at Muzaffarabad = 3700
Day 03 - Room Rent Muzaffarabad (2 Rooms + Extra Mattress) = 6500
----------- Breakfast Kohala = 1300

Road Conditions and Time
Lahore to Islamabad (G.T Road) = Very Good (Approx 5-6 Hours with Stay)
Islamabad to Lower Topa (Express Way) = Very Good (approx 1 hour)
Lower Topa to Kohala = Quite OK with some bad patches (Approx 1:30 hour)
Kohala to Muzaffarabad = Very Good (Appox 30-45 mins)
Muzaffarabad to Athmuqam = Good with Some Minor and Bad Patches (Approx 3-4 Hours)
Authmuqam to Doarian = Good with Some Bad Patches (Approx 1-2 Hours)
Doarian to Sharda = ooooooooo... very Bad.. Roadless Road... : ) (Approx 2-3 Hours)
