Trip to Shogran/Sri Paye

Asslam o Elikum to all.
We are total 12 guys plan to go Shogran/Sri paye on 16th of april
Anyone tell us the Road and weather condition there in mid of april,

You can easily make trip to Shogran and a few hotels are also open there but road to Siri-Paye is still heavily covered with Snow and it is beleived that you cant make there even on jeep.

dear these days law and order situation in hazara division is not good so its not advisable to travel to that areas and shugran is located in that area.

man naran is nice but too quiet like nathia gali...n shogran...same aswell...but from kaghan to naran...the roads are pretty bad...so careful with that...and to shogran, thats the worst roads i've ever driven in my life!!...i was drivin mi '08 coal gray gli corolla... n i was drivin it for the first tyme n it was nitetyme...7km distance took me 50mins to get there...

dont know abou the latest road conditions but when i visited there this september they were quite good n i felt road can`t be better than this in this type of area , they were wide n newly paved too

12 Days ago i came back from Shogran. Road condition is clear till Shogran. Have 3 or 4 difficult spots after Balakot to Kawai. SRI Pai is still undiscoverable. Road is closed. But hopefully next week its opened.

Hi guys,
I'm planning a trip to naran,saiful-muluk,shogran and siri paye from 27th April to 5th May 2013 with my family. I have 3 questions....
1. is there any way to find out beforehand whether roads till siaf-ul-muluk and siri paye are open?
2. what is present situation in kaghan valley, are there any no-go areas? last year there were some problems in lal-zar area (sectarian issues I think). Are those areas safe?
3. any hotel recommendations for naran and shogran?
