Troubling starting Mercedes E class. The Steering wheel is locked

AOA brothers. Today I had troubling starting my E class, 2010. I gave my car to LMS(Lahore Motor Sports) 2 days a go for Bumpers fresh look. Today when I called them to take my car, they said to come pick it up in an hour. I went there and waited for them. The guy then asked me to come outside, saying my car won't start up. Many people tried starting it(even me)But the car would't start up. No display, no lights, nothing. Totally dead. Someone said it's the Steering lock. The steering was locked and wouldn't be free. Can somebody please guide me what's wrong with the car? Or can someone refer me some Mechanic etc?

do you see the odo light up when you open the door?
does the steering lock not make a zip sound when you insert the key?

ask them if they left the key in place with engine off or if they tried jump starting another car with it

you will need to connect a benz scanner to it and see whats happening in the security menu, either the key is bad or the EIS has lost track of the codes from the key (bad/low battery start/jump)

do you have another key or is this the only key?

car gray market or shahnawaz import? If you have a crafty electronics person you can have them test if the EIS is actually energizing the induction coil to energize the key.

its quite odd that it failed all of a sudden, usually its a goofup that causes this.

btw - what is bumper configuration?

You should visit ejaz auto located in charrar pind defence z block. The guy is mercedes bmw and german cars expert and can probably solve your issue.

Didn't ask them that, but I will ask them first time today.

Where can I get the Benz scanner from? Or any Good scanner would work?

I showed it to one the guys from INH, he checked and said it's pretty normal, which was weird for me.

PS: Wrong choice of word, should've used "Paint" instead of Configuration.
