I have a 2016 Corolla Altis without an immobilizer. I want to install a trunk button on the trunk itself, just like in the Grande model, but I want it to work only when the car is unlocked. I’ve already installed an automatic trunk latch like the one in the Grande, and I’m using an aftermarket car alarm system. Currently, I can open the trunk using the trunk button on my remote. However, I’m wondering if the alarm system supports a constant 12V output when the car is unlocked. Most aftermarket car alarms only send a brief pulse when locking or unlocking, but I need a steady 12V signal when the car is unlocked in order for the trunk button to function properly
