Tuning, spark plug change of aqua

Hey just wanted a lil info on how many km should change the spark plugs of aqua. I have a 2015 model aqua and if we change it what is the best company for aqua as my avg for long drives have gone down to kike 15-15.5 kn per liter which was around 18-19 before.

have your Hybrid system checked for health, spark plugs and coils on these engines are usually a 150,000 to 200,000 kms job as the engine isnt used as much.

Also make sure you are using the correct engine lube as a thick one can rob a lot of engine power and increase your fuel consumption.

Final check is to make sure your exhaust system is in good health, Do not fall for the "catalytic converter hydrogen cleaning scam jobs that are plenty in Pakistan" - The cat is self cleaning and its efficiency can be checked from the scan tool and a portable propane cylinder.

Another issue is that the fuel consumption of these prius/aqua is not stellar on highways. These cars give their best in city only.

Yeah my avg of 15.5 is in the city itself which is worrying me. I have changed the mobil oil quality bt no use so i was thinking maybe sone tuning is required

I hope you're using 0w-20 viscosity engine oil as mentioned above by dear Mr. Xulifqar.

Also see your tire pressure, type of fuel you're using. Try fueling with renowned fuel station.

Yes brother and tyre pressure is always good as i keep a sharp eye on that and mobil oil grade is also fine. I have tried high octane as well but its no use even though i know the pump i go to is up to the mark.

no brother i have gone to several professional workshops but to no use so i wanna figure out what can be the issue so i can go to the workshop and point it out to the mechanic rather than troubleshooting it in the workshop and brother i started off using caltex mobil oil but the result wasnt good hence i am using fully synthetic mobil oil 0-20w.

i imported it on 36,000 km and now it has ran a total of like 62,000 km, it is running trouble free other than having a city drive agv of like 14-15 km max.

You bought an oil branded as caltex-mobil?

And what professional shops did you visit? Did they have command over diagnosing drivability issues?

I've seen a lot of people here in Pakistan call engine oil as mobil oil, including some mechanics. My father and grandfather call it that too. Don't know the exact reason why, but I think during the 70s and 80s, mobil one was a really popular brand here in Pakistan, maybe that's why they call motor oil mobil oil.

Edit: Just found out from Wikipedia that up until the 1970s, mobil used to market their oils as "mobiloil" before introducing the mobil1 brand. However, I still don't get why so many people in Pakistan still all motor oils by that name when that brand name was phased out so long ago.

I reside here in Lahore so theres this one good workshop near bhatta chowk, inh workshop. They specialise in hybrid car repair and all and even they coudnt figure out the problem. All they said was that i use a fuel injector when my avg drops but one cannot use a fuel injector every time I get my petrol refill. Yes caltex sells havoline so i used that at first bt to no good avail and now changed it to quartz 0-20w
