Hey Pakwheelers, I need your help. I am thinking of installing a turbo in my 1300cc manual gli 2015.what is the cost. Can someone tell me what parts. And is it even a good decision or there is no need in a 1300cc.What will be the horsepower
Shift on larger Corolla
Shift to a 1.8 I'd say that'll be enough power
I also want my rolla to float like a boat on sea, but It can't.
Yes it can be installed. But it's a half million project
I am thinking about that, Thank you for your suggestion
Okay, I am actually thinking to shift to 1.8
Oh, that is alot, is there any speed benefit and does it affect the fuel average.
It can be done but Inflation has done it difficult
Wise decision. Turboing the NZ is like putting a horse on a mule and expect it to run
Turbo benefits acceleration, not speed, and fuel consumption will depend on what you want from it
Actually the thing is, We use our car for long distance travelling so the total fuel cost is already very high and with the 1.8 it will touch the sky.
There isn't a lot of benefits for the turbo for me because I am not a street racer but I love acceleration and the whistle. I'm thinking of maybe building a Honda, sleeper build
Then purchase a JDM Suzuki 660cc turbo vehicle it will fulfill your economy plus boost drive needs. Good list vehicles are Wagon R turbo. Alto Rs TurboDiahatsu Move Turbo
Bigger engine gives a better mileage on long journeys. Depends on the engine itself My Grande gives around 14 while Sonata 2.5 gives 16.
Better to swap engine to 2zz ge it will cost you same but 1.3 become vulnerable to blow up because FE engines can't handle boost even if its tune on boost unless you have some tuning precision expert if you manage to find one his charges going to cost a fortune. BTW mostly people using blitz bolt on supercharger kit on 2nz fe as it is successful than turbo setup. Import supercharger kit from abroad probably thailand approach parts central page on fb for further inquiry or reach some local performance shop for importing one.
Do you think it is also a 100k upgrade. No my dear friend, it is also a 600-700k project upgrading to 2zr/1zr full complete system
Yes and turbos are in general made for increasing efficiency not just acceleration. But in Stock systems. Else as you said, it depends on what you want from it.
I'll see, Thank you for the suggestion!
